Razza in Jersey City is not just a pizza place--it's a culinary experience that will transport you straight to pizza paradise! As a devoted pizza enthusiast, I can confidently say that Razza serves some of the best Neapolitan-style pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the enticing aroma of wood-fired perfection. The ambiance is cozy yet chic, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the pizza! Each pie at Razza is a work of art, with a thin, chewy crust that's charred to perfection and topped with the freshest ingredients imaginable. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or one of their inventive seasonal creations, you're in for a flavor explosion that will leave you craving more. But Razza isn't just about the pizza. Their appetizers and salads are equally delightful, showcasing locally sourced ingredients and expert craftsmanship. And don't even get me started on their desserts--I'm still dreaming about the tiramisu! The service at Razza is top-notch, with friendly staff who are passionate about their craft and eager to make your dining experience unforgettable. In summary, if you're a pizza aficionado or just someone who appreciates good food, Razza is a must-visit. Five stars all the way for their dedication to quality, flavor, and overall dining excellence. Bravo, Razza!

not bad but not great. skip the spicy margarita.. not that good. my first sip was a bunch of jalapeño pulp which i didn't enjoy and then it somehow ended up not even being that spicy. we got the spicy rigatoni and it was okay but nothing crazy. peas felt out of place. ambiance very romantic and pretty tho

Some would say it's the best pizza in the area. It's indeed good. Funghi is a popular one and my favorite. We had another one with tomato that was also popular (don't recall the name) but it was not as unique.

So the first time I ever had razza, we got takeout and the guy on the phone was so nice. I was so blown away by how patient and nice he was. The pizza was also to die for…. Absolutely bewildering how amazing it was. Today I ate inside for the first time with my best friend and…. great googly moogly were we amazed. First of all, thank you so much to Joe and the girls in the front for getting us seated despite our tardiness to our reservation. So grateful for that! I felt like they really wanted us there and were so empathetic. Second of all, THE bartender Kai (spelling) is a legend. That foamy drink and the pretty pink one…. Woah. Outstanding!!! Thirdly, the pizza was obviously off the hook. They told us the clam calzone was taking a bit long because of the dough and how they needed to get it just right, and man you could really taste the technique and effort and attention to detail that was taken with that calzone. Gobsmacked… and the pizzas, dear god. Hazelnut pizza blew us away because it was just such an elite pairing of the nut with the cheese and dough. Lest we forget the special pizza which was spinach and a garlic confit — have you ever seen the movie ratatouille? You know the scene where he tries the ratatouille and has a flashback to his childhood? The whole time, that was me. Literally cannot express what an awesome experience this was from start to finish. Thank you guys all so much

Great food and service. Quite the hidden Jen in Jersey city. I had wished my drinks were a tad stronger but the pizza was amazing. Started off with the meatballs which literally melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was great, lots of different groups and I would love to return just to hang at the bar. Table was a bit small but we managed to get everything on there without spilling.

I was not a pizza girl until I got a chance to check out this place. It's become my fav go-to place so far. Their food is dope and also the quality of service. No wonder why they are always booked up.

Get the panna cotta with salted caramel. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The meatballs and ricotta appetizer was also phenomenal.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had! My husband and I have dined at Razza twice and each time our meal was excellent. The pizza crust is thin but crispy and literally melts in your mouth. The meatballs with ricotta are so delicious, I wish I could have them everyday. Their cocktails and desserts are also great, you literally can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.

This is blaze pizza (but worst no disrespect blaze I love you) but amplified by social media fame placed in a hipster vibe settingWhat's great about it is the service which you have a lot of friendly servers and are on top of you for every need. The worst about it is the food and to and extent the atmosphere, food if there was a zero I would give it; pizza trying to be Italian style with the size and the thin crust, but you can taste the dough as its super super thin to the point I gets crispy in the gas oven, second the scarcity of the the toppings is so severe you beary can taste any thing besides the crispy dough. But if it was a corner place with cheap pizza I would understand but not 25-30$ for this crispy flat breadHighly do not recommend this. Unless you looking for social media clicks, so disappointing.

i'm giving two stars because the service was very good. everyone was friendly and we got our food without much wait; however, the pizza itself was lacking in flavor. we got the funghi and santo; for the santo, there was no spice to the chilli oil and the tomato sauce had no seasoning to it. it seemed like we were eating pureed tomatos. the funghi was a bit better purely because of the flavor of the mushrooms, but it was dry because there was no sauce. overall, both pizzas were dry, burnt and unflavorful. i would not come back here and frankly, i've had better dollar slices in the city.

The pizza was passable at best. Crust was crispy and well cooked. The biggest issue was that virtually every item seemed to lack flavor of any kind. Even basics like salt seemed to be missing.Perhaps I went in on a bad day but a place with this kind of hype should not have bad days.

The food was so unflavored and not good. No flavor, asked for chilli flakes, those also had no flavor not spicy at all. So dry too, had to take the food to go to add my own sauce and chili peppers on it at home. Bread and butter app was nothing special, butter should’ve had something like garlic/herb or some jam with it. Service was quick and great, and super accommodating. Will not be returning solely for how bad the food was, not worth it, no complaints about the service. I’ve had better dollar slices.

Amazing, highly recommend! The salted caramel panna cotta was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The pizzas are delicious and the menu has a great variety. Service was excellent!

I would give this amazing pizza spot 5 stars if they didn't keep your credit card hijacked to hold one's reservation! Fortunately we got seats at the bar on a Saturday evening and had some really awesome pies. We tried the margarita and pepperoni pies and the meatballs - all were perfect!! We love the service and wait staff, very friendly! Coming from New York it's hard to find decent brick oven pizza but this spot serves up a pie with a smokey crust and savory flavor that hits home! There could be a little more cheese on the pies but the sauce is just sweet enough that compliments the whole pizza. Someone please tell the owner to stop forcing patrons to give their credit card for reservations. Very discouraging and you'll get customers even if you don't follow this rule (which should be against the law for all businesses!!)
