We haven’t been here for more than a year given we were dispointed with the dry brisket. Last night we were pleasantly surprised the brisket quality which was excellent. I hope this place remains consistent so we can come back with more frequency.

So disappointed. Was excited to try the french onion soup dumplings but after my wife and I tasted them we sent it back, it was actually gross. Flavorless soup with undercooked dough under a pound of cheese. Disgusting. I got the steak au poivre which was overcooked and swimming in a gallon of sauce. Also got fish tacos, it was the most edible but extremely mediocre. End result was that for dinner I had one bite of dumplings, half of one of my wife’s tacos and a few french fries. We’ll never be back.

Saturday night. Not many people. Servers came every 5 min to check if we finished with our food. Totally annoying. Can’t have any moment of tranquility especially when eating. Won’t return anymore.Food below average.

I wish I could give this place zero stars! Everyone please don't go here! We went there around 2:30 and ordered four things: cauliflower wings, kids Mac n cheese, salad, and lamb burger. After getting seated, we didn't get water and any silverware for 20-30 mins. This is after our server took the order. The servers walk around like headless chicken. We finally got our food after waiting for 45 mins. I can understand if the restaurant was busy but at this time the place was half empty. Anyways, after waiting for so long, we got our food. The kids Mac n cheese was average and fries that came with it were soggy. My lamb burger was burnt and I sent it back. I lost appetite to eat after one bite and poor quality of service. My wife's salad was below par and she left half of it. If you are in the Hamilton park area, avoid this place at all cost. You are better off going to rumba Cubana, chickies, or Ed &Mary's ! Absolute waste of your time and money!

Never had a bad meal here. I just feel there's nothing wrong with this place. The interior is not too big, not too small. People are always friendly. I also love that it's located on a corner for some reason. The music is nice - usually a song you maybe forgot about and you're like "oh yeah, this is a good song". Portion sizes are enough where you can usually clean your plate and be content. I don't always need a meal where I can take some home. Sometimes it's nice to finish a meal in one sitting and feel content. I had the burrata pasta - made with a slightly spicy vodka sauce. I mean, can you go wrong with vodka sauce and burrata? I love the slight spice to the sauce - just enough heat to make things interesting. My husband got the chicken vodka parm - same sauce as mine just with chicken - so that was also good! Cutlet was a good thickness (not too thin, not too thick). You can also have that in sandwich form - which sounds awesome. I simply adore this place. They have some items that seem to stick and never change (their famous onion soup dumplings and the egg pizza), but also seem to have new menu items. Want to try their brunch next!

They have a Wednesday happy hour advertised that they did not want to honor, then told us to wait for a manager to come because they might be able to do something about it but then we waited 10 minutes without anyone actually coming to address the issue. Bartender was okay about the issue but couldn't be bothered to take any initiative in trying to make the situation better. Sadly, this place is going downhill.

I don’t know if they switched chefs or what is going on! This use to be my favorite place to go. The last two times I went were horrible . The oysters did not look fresh and I had them take back. We ordered steak nachos and they were missing two ingredients. I should have taken pictures . It’s a shame .

This was a date night dinner. The Hamilton Inn was clean, cozy, with good food. It was a Wednesday evening and Blue Point oysters were on special. That was a delicious appetizer. I had the sweet potato salad which was divine and my beau had the crab cakes which were perfectly cooked. We will visit again!
