Not sure if they have a kitchen so can't give 5 stars, not sure why you HAVE to choose. Anyway I liked this spot a lot. Great AC and the bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable.

Small bar. I did not eat so I don't know if the food is good. The gin&tonic was great.
This place was much better before with the older management but it's okay. Before I used to come here with some friends but after the older management sold the bar it really wasn't that great a bar. The last few times I didn't enjoy it that much. The bartender was rude so I didn't really have a good experience.

went there with some friends last night (6/7/23 @11pm) . tall white guy bartender is super rude & was asking for extra tips . he tried to tell me my id was expired when it has a whole year to expire & refused me drinks . i go into this place a lot because it's a chill spot to hang but the bartender from last night left a bad taste in my mouth (he also works at taqueria & i don't go there when he's there either cause of how rude he is) . will only go back when the other skinny guy bartender is there or when the girl bartender is there . i'm a bartender on newark ave as well so i know the clientele here & i'm very aware the way he treats his customers is not the right way.

This is not a snooty high end bar. This is an excellent dive bar. Cash only. Excellent music. Good beer and shot specials. Staff was friendly. Low key. Perfect
