This is the place you want to avoid. Yesterday we ordered a 小炒牛肉，红烧牛肉饭 and 夫妻肺片. After eating their food we feel uncomfortable and need to vomit. This morning still feel like want to vomiting and it ruined my whole day. I think the food is definitely not fresh, not to mention they put too much oil to their food. Disgusting.

Ordered mild spicy, food came extra spicy. I called saying they did it wrong. The staff was implying it’s because my taste is not tolerable to spice and the chef came from a place famous for spicy food, so the standard is based on the chef’s taste. They just simply made a mistake and can you imagine? They blame customers when receiving reviews!

Bad food! Expensive price!The quality of the food was not reflective of its steep price point. I found the dishes to be lacking in flavor, freshness, and general appeal. It was immediately evident that the ingredients used were not up to par, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and presentation.Even more concerning was the adverse effect the meal had on my stomach shortly after consuming it. It is deeply regrettable that a meal from a restaurant with such pricing would result in physical discomfort and unease.

Worst service ever, they will never remember you r order from their square website, everything I need to call to remind them that I placed an order for pickup, also don’t expect to receive your order before 12pm, as they say open at 10:30am, not true, I placed an order at 10:30am today, again, called around 11:20am to make sure they have my order ready, but no one answered, 5 calls made before 12pm, still nobody answered, I decided to walk 15 mins to restaurant, as expected, no one even noticed I placed an order, really out of my patience to this place for all past unprofessional service!

The service here is incredibly friendly. I was kindly accommodated. I was shocked to see that no one else was here. The broth was delicious and rich. I got the circle of life, which was much bigger than expected, but incredibly worth it. A cozy and intimate spot for date night or a night out with a group of friends or be like me and dine alone - haha. I highly recommend the Old Spot. It was truly a great meal and I'm STUFFED with leftover soup to take home. I will absolutely be returning.People badmouthing this place in any of the other reviews, personally I don't understand it. They were wonderful from start to finish.
this screams UNSANITARY. restaurant workers just dump their excess cooking grease / blood onto the sidewalk directlyout front of the restaurant. very concerning for public health and for dogs / animals walking by.

I've ordered delivery food a couple of times from there, and I don't know exactly about their dine-in service and anything else. One thing I have to say is their food is authentic for sure. Ordered pickup at 6:10 pm and got there 6:30 thinking that my food would be ready by then. But it wasn't and I ended up waiting for 30 more minutes until I got my food. I dont understand why it took so long to make a RICE COMBO and the waiter's attitude was terrible straight walking away from me when I asked him the third time when would my food be ready. Would not go back to this place.

WOULD NEVER COME BACK1. We explained our order to the waiter but this waiter got it wrong and ended up adding one more ingredient to our dish. After the owner of the restaurant (seems like it) was made aware, he try to PIN this on us saying "you ordered it and you did have it in the dish". Very bad attitude. And after I talked back to him pointing out the mistake is theirs, this owner walked into the kitchen area and start yelling to the waiter in a very loud voice. The yelling lasted for about 5 mins and the entire restaurant can hear it.2, An old lady came to me with a POS machine in her hand for payment. I put in my card, paid and then on this POS it moved to the next session which is TIP. I was hesitating how much I should pay given what happened but this old lady immediately told me "You CANNOT refuse to pay tip". In my face. The POS was showing "18%" "20%" "25" and "no tip". I was forced to choose the 18% one with her staring right next to me and the owner standing in kitchen area shouting. It was very ugly and we immediately decided to leave.3. "Small Spicy" is actually very spicy. And don't know why they offered white rice long before we have our dishes. Rice was all cold when our dishes finally arrived.
