One of the few places that was open at the District Kitchen area. It is like a chipotle but for poke bowls. The tuna poke with onions and all the fixings was my jam. I put some eel sauce on it with some soy. The rice was cooked perfectly. The toppings were fresh and I also tried the salmon. Cool spot and since no one was there we had plenty of seating.

Ingredients are freshLot of options for vegetariansService is quickInside a work building so entrance is kind of difficult to find. Slightly on the expensive side. Paid $17 for a bowl

Too much rice in the poke bowl and so little salmon. The shoyu poke is way too salty. It should be sweetened with other sauce.Staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great.

Ordered poke bowl through uber eats. What I've got looks nothing like their pictures - lots of rice and chopped onions in lieu of other ingredients. Fish taste is sub par.

This is so infuriating. I ordered food from your place thinking it was the same location only to get there and hear it isn'tThen when I actually go to your new location I can't GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!ON TOP OF THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACY ANYONE TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM!I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Been here twice for their açaí bowl and did not disappoint. Everything was delicious! My main recommendation is for them to tidy the place up a bit. The tables and chairs inside were awkwardly all placed against the wall which made it very uninviting to sit. It was a gorgeous Saturday and even though they have reserved outdoor space there were no tables put out. Their bulky delivery bike was also inside the restaurant and was the first thing you saw as you walked in. This place has prime JC location and I think could it could really flourish with some extra care.

I’d have to say this place is a step below mediocre. In a downtown JC area with tons of good food, this just isn’t worth the trip. I got spicy tuna and salmon in my bowl and some pieces had chunks of defrosted ice on them. The add-ins weren’t very good either. Some mango pieces were mushy and spreadable while some were hard with no flavor or color. Even the rice was tasting stale. I think freshness is the most important aspect of sushi/poke and this place is far from proficient in it. It all taste like frozen ingredients. POKAY or Poke Bowl in Downtown Bayonne are cheaper and miles betterEdit: I forgot to mention that they put their food in Chinese food rectangular styrofoam boxes. I’ve never had Poke served this way and it made it impossible to mix around the ingredients. They should serve them in circle cone shaped bowls

Seems like the place is under new ownership. They now serve your poke "bowl" in a styrofoam chinese food container so it's hard to mix and they give you brown bathroom paper towels as food napkins. I should've known the fish wouldn't be fresh - I couldn't even eat the Ahi tuna. They are cutting corners for costs and the downgrade in food quality shows.

I was just in there and it’s not about the food but I was waiting for my order when a man cornered me and asked to buy him a salad. He got into my physical space (he was intoxicated and not able to walk well) and the counter person didn’t do anything to help me, or ask him to leave. So I have to leave my food because he was harassing me without accepting my declination to buy him food and it seems like the staff don’t care.

First and last time I will ever order from here. Tuna was bad and I couldn't even eat my bowl I got for delivery. After one bite I threw it in the garbage because it smelled and tasted very fishy. The kani salad also had way too much mayo. Best part overall was the fruit in the bowl. I also got a matcha bubble tea, which half spilled out and was warm. Delivered with no ice and tasted off as well. Complete and total waste of $32. Worst poke bowl I have ever had.

I ordered a salmon poke bowl for delivery with "gluten free shoyu"-- It was --hands down-- the worst poke I've ever had. The rice was formed in a gummy block on the bottom, the salmon was room temperature, there was little drops of gluten free soy sauce on the rice -- when it was labeled as "gluten free shoyu" - there was maybe a total of 3 cucumber slices and the mango was disintegrating like it came out if a can or was sitting in liquid multiple days. I was starving hungry / first meal of the day, and I threw it out-- just to give you some perspective

I ordered some poke from here on DoorDash and loaded up on a ton of toppings. They were pretty generous with both the protein (I got tofu) and toppings, which was nice. The vegetables seemed fresh to me, and it was a good portion of food. However, they definitely skimped on the sauce. If I come back here, I will ask for an extra side of sauce.

The staff were not well trained & the poke quality was average

Have ordered here for years, quality had decreased over time, portion sizes smaller, prices up (aka 'the usual" you'd expect these days), but not only was my order fairly unappetizing and incorrect (I paid for 2 Mains each bowl and only received 1 Mains) the restaurant did not respond to my communications four days ago then again two days ago... so wanted to share my experience and show what paying $40 here these days gets you.

I come here every week. My favourite Poke place.
