This place has good food/ cold beer and a rustic bar feel. I cannot recommend this place enough to people in the area.I recommend the burgers and poutine here. The poutine is really good and the burgers are huge.The wings were also classic and crispy.The restaurant is a little small so it can feel crowded during peak times but the food is worth it.

Got a petty melt to go during dinner time. Maybe it's meant to be a treasure hunt to find the meat, had to dig into it to find a tiny bit in the center!Usually a fan of this place but this was disappointing.

White Star is a great bar if you're looking for friendly bar staff, good pubgrub and reasonable pricing. We would like to see a stronger local beer selection, but we will settle for a pint of Allagash, their fried pickles, and a lamb burger. Totally forgot to take pictures of the food ??

I went to White Star on Saturday at around 5:30 pm with my family. I am hard of hearing and my hearing issue was mocked by the staff member (male with beard) in an extremely rude manner. I explained to him my condition and he was very rude and spoke down to me. I never received an apology. Then after I gave them my phone number for the waitlist, no one ever called us. This is unacceptable. He literally shooed us away with his hand multiple times. I used to really enjoy going here but never again. Management needs step in and do something about this.

Awful hospitality!Complete racist and discrimination against Asians!Been sitting for 15’ and no one came to serve us! When I was complaining this to the waiter, he was unhappy and didn’t even apologize for the lack of attention to us. This was totally unacceptable.If you run a restaurant bar, you’d better make sure your staff are well-trained so they treat every race equally and you have enough staff to serve every customer even in peak times.

Will reject you to sit on a larger 4-seat table when you come early and wait for more friends to come. No wonder half of the tables are empty at Saturday 6
