I love this company because it's convenience of being close in NJ, the company sells to individuals customers most only sell to business. I bought Saba mackerel and tobikko it was better and fresh or as good as in any high end Sushi restaurant. I can't wait to order again and the minimum to order is $40 and close enough to pickup in Jersey City. ty Jorge Alonso.

Excellent high quality seafood and customer service. You can get the same quality of sushi grade fish and seafood here that you would normally get at a high-end omakase restaurant, but at wholesale prices. They listen to customer feedback and suggestions and often tweak their inventory to satisfy those requests. Highly recommend!

Been ordering all our fish/seafood from Yama Seafood since Covid started, and it's been amazing. Yama Seafood used to only supply the highest quality tuna to high end Sushi restaurants in Manhattan (check the WSJ article if you're curious) so it goes without saying that the quality is unlike what you can get from standard retailers. We're a fish-loving household, and as much as we are heartbroken for the restaurant industry that's been hard hit by Covid, their loss is truly our gain. I recommend the Grade A or B tuna, which come to you in fat, translucent, ruby-red chunks that you can't help but photograph before eating. For the adventurous, I recommend ordering a whole salmon to descale and breakdown yourself. It will take you about 2 hours, and you will hate yourself as you work, but you're not going to find fresher salmon unless you catch one yourself.PS: The price is amazing, especially considering the quality of the fish!

Ordered salmon and toro from here and it was superb. You can definitely taste the difference compared to fish you get from other sources. This is basically the fish you get at premium restaurants in Manhattan, but for only a fraction of the price.
