Shouting from the mountain tops praises for this small family business! It was important to us to have traditional Puerto Rican food at my grandmother’s repast. My family and I were struggling to find a local place that checked off all the boxes. This family business understood the mission and said, “we got you!” And we felt it from beginning to end. Not only did they cater for us but secured a venue for us and did all the little things as well to ensure a memorable smooth event. We just showed up (40+ people) and enjoyed our family and amazing food. So grateful to have stumbled upon Mambo Nando’s and now to be part of their loyal customers. Can’t wait for the summer!

Que verguenza!Every single dish I ordered was suboptimal and greasy, well except for the 'empanadas'.... ...I can't tell you about the empandas we paid for...because they were not with the order (and they insisted they were when we went back to ask for them).Yo no se quien es esta gente... Did you see some if their replies? Geeesh!So en resumen: Proceed at your own risk... but make sure you check all you paid for is with your order.

Nice little place. The food was a bit hit or miss, some dishes were delicious, others didn't quite hit the spot. Definitely recommend the Pernil though. Fantastic.

This food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered from DoorDash to try something new and they did NOT dissapoint. I had a beef empanada, the permit, yellow rice and a side of bean.It was so good I called them and said thank you for the amazing meal.Go get it, order it, take out, whatever. Just go.

The smell of the delicious food invited us in! They have counter seating as well as some outdoor tables and benches. You really feel like you're part of a family dinner. Service was absolutely spectacular. Man the food was so good!! The pork melted in your mouth and was perfectly seasoned. The empanadas were so flavorful and the crust was buttery and crispy. Can't miss this gem in Keansburg, ideally located between the amusement park and water park.

We stopped here cuz it was the only place open and were so happy we did! This is a family business and they are all SO nice! I got a guava and cream cheese empanada-to the daughter of the owner... you MUST try one! It was so yummy! My son got chicken fingers-they were big pieces of real, quality chicken. We will definitely be going back! They are open all year, except for Mon. & Tuesdays in off season. I love Keansburg beach-so few people there, lots of nice shells and cool finds and it is beautiful!

I've been to PR twice and I must say the food here is even better than the majority of meals I had on the island. Super appreciate the vegan options as well! The impossible beef empanadas were fire as was the rice and bean combo. Delicious, fresh, filling meal in an otherwise tough area for plant-forward eaters.
