“I rarely eat Chinese food at a restaurant it’s usually takeout. However, on Saturday after shopping and the heavy rain we decided to stop in bay ridge and we decided for a change instead of Italian and I’m glad we did because the food was delicious the manager and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be going back the atmosphere was friendly and very warm I really enjoyed the experienceKid-friendliness: I didn’t have children but there were many families with children fascinated with the large fish tank with big fish“
“The dining environment is clean and tidy, and all service staff are very friendly. I ordered boiled beef and dry-pot cauliflower. The food was served quickly by the kitchen. The price was not expensive judging from the amount of food, and the taste was very good!“
“The food is excellent, but the older lady working the front door(I think she might be the owner)needs to learn how to treat people more respectfully. She was fine with us, but I saw the way she would speak to customers and rush them out of their seats as soon as they took their last bite. I understand it gets busy in there, but it's the way she speaks to people very authoritarian.“
“Went with a group of friends tonight and from the first bite to the last, we kept raving about every dish we ordered. Sooo delicious! We ordered the dry pot chicken, the hot sauce fish, the cumin lamb, chongqing pepper chicken, string beans, and eggplant. Look forward to going back again when I’m in the area! ?“
“We ordered delivery and were pleasantly surprised. The Ma Po Tofu and Eggplant in garlic were excellent. The fish fillets were great too. We found the flavors were very balanced. Nothing was overly spicy or bland either. The food was just perfect. It is so hard to find good Chinese food that is balanced and delicious and never expected to find it in Jersey City. We will be regulars now!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options“
“Four stars on the basis of fairly decent food. They would do well to replace the benches with more comfortable chairs and hire a trained wait person. Maybe they were short staffed, it did snow in the AM…but I was jumping out of my skin watching the two of them running back-and-forth and whipping through the swinging kitchen door trying to handle a few takeout phone orders plus the two tables that were there!“
“Great food, great atmosphere, and good service. Came here with a party of 3, no reservation and we were seated immediately. The staff were great about recommending dishes and making sure the we were okay. The restaurant had a really clean but classy finish with a lot of natural light. The food was amazing! Pretty authentic but executed in an elevated style. The chicken in chili oil was perfect and the sliced pork belly in garlic chili sauce was near addicting. I couldn’t get enough. We also got the sautéed cauliflower and stirfried cabbage which hit the spot. Very classic veggie dishes. For the large plates, we got the beef in sour soup and mapo tofu. The tofu was pretty standard but still really good. The beef in sour soup was a little salty, but could easily be watered down to taste. Overall the portions were great and the food warmed us right up. Would come again.“
“Legit Szechuan kitchen. There are 2 small tables but the place is really set up for takeout/delivery orders.Beware English isn't their strongest point and there's a fee for credit but the food makes up for their shortcomings. I have ordered many times.“
