Great place except for female seating us. A definite attitude. Would not let us have a vacant booth. Luckily, other staff in charge helped us get to a booth .There were other booths available and no one got seated in table where she tried to put us, nor did all booths fill up until we were almost done eating. We were there early with a reservation.There was no reason for her behavior.

Pizza was absolutely outstanding. High quality ingredients and exquisitely put together. Had the Margarita and Pesto and my kids and I LOVED them. Was a little disappointed by the Fried Calamari and Zucchini shared plate. The taste was on point but not enough calamari and too much zucchini. Wish they just served the fried calamari alone. Grilled Caesar salad was delicious and unique.No doubt, I will be coming back for the pizza and will have to try the other pizza offerings. One of the best pizza places I've been to in Jersey

Our son has been talking about this place for so long we decided to make the trip to eat here. Pizza was our main goal. Since we went to Italy we believed no place in “Jersey” could rival it! Welllll. Once again our son was Right.! Truly a fantastic experience. Comfortable booth for our family and a 3 yr old. And the warm rustic decor, fantastic music and excellent service.

This is my home away from home. If I’m not working or home, I am here. Between the cocktails, food and the staff..5 stars all around. A lot goes into what’s on the food and bar menu and you can tell. This is connoisseur level food and drink. If coming here is not on your list, it should be!

I understand substitutions. But asking for a dipping sauce, or mayo. Pickles for my burger. And being refused and told no. I don’t understand and will tell everyone not to come here. With 100s of options/choices it’s hilarious to be told no to simple condiment requests. And my burger was way over done. Sad to say I will not be back and ensure others do the same.

Always a good time at Ava's. Went last Friday for some 'zza. My party went with the Red and King Murphy pies. Very tasty bar pies especially for those who love some char. The main draw for me is the inventive cocktail list as well as friendly banter of the bartenders. Always a welcoming and lively environment they've put together here. Can't recommend enough!
