AMAZING!!! The food is always perfect and the staff is always on the spot when it comes to changing what ingredients you want in any of the many different dishes they have.

They have recently started not giving fortune cookies with your order then charging for them when you ask for them. Also, in all my years of ordering chicken chow mein never once has it come with pork fried rice.???

The food we received upon delivery was not like the pic or description. Bare minimum. This place used to be great. Not anymore. I ordered Mai fun. The food came with noodles only, no veggies. I paid $30.00 with tip and an egg roll. Never again.

Food was good however when I ordered the sesame chicken combo the chicken was overloaded with sauce making it too sweet and thick. Also when I called apparently the order did not go through so I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for them to make the food. Price was fair.

Real shame these bad review ..Seems it's either new owners or new management. And since food and service has been very good again the way it used to be many years ago. It's a shame these new people have to inherit the old reviews but hope other will try them.

I am pretty surprised by the very low ratings, and they actually kept me from trying this place for so long. We tried so many Chinese restaurants in the area after moving from Staten Island, and we were disappointed in all of them. We did find one we liked enough, but then they served me food that wasn't fresh three times (dried out spare ribs, hard fried rice and burnt roast pork), so we decided to try First Wok. We really liked it. We've been ordering from them for several months now and the food has been consistently fresh and good. I would not say it's as good as our Staten Island take outs, but it's pretty close. We have ordered quite a few things, and liked them all. Our go to's include the house special wonton soup, hot and sour soup, lo-mein, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and broccoli, boneless ribs, General's chicken and orange chicken. All have been good. If you want the chicken and broccoli in brown sauce though, you have to specify...otherwise it's in a white sauce. Quick delivery...order always correct. Give it a try.

DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!! I ordered on line and didn’t receive a confirmation of my order. I called the restaurant to confirm and the man who answered was so rude. The food was disgusting. I ordered dumplings in sezchuan sauce. In the picture it is pan fried in the sauce. I received boiled dumplings in a peanut butter sauce that tasted horrible. We also ordered boneless spareribs. That were mostly fat and cartilage. The sauce was sweet with a mint aftertaste. Very off putting. I didn’t continue and 30 minutes later vomited because the bad taste in my was so overwhelming.I called the restaurant back and they said their sezchuan sauce has peanut sauce in it and I didn’t say i wanted it pan fried. I wasn’t given the option to specify and in the picture the dumplings are pan fried. I am not a dramatic person, so much so that this is my first review I ever written but I would hate for someone to get the same quality food as I did.

I don't know what's going on with the management, as I've ordered here many years. The food has always been great quality. I ordered two meals: shrimp and broccoli for dinner, and lobster lo mein for lunch the next day. When I opened the pint for the lo mein, I realized there was no lobster. I called the restaurant, and after explaining, the person who answered, shamed me by saying he can't understand why I didn't open it the night before and that it made no sense. I told him I've ordered for years and this is the first time I've ever called about an order being wrong, so why would I assume this time something was wrong? He kept saying the lobster is on the top and I said more than once there wasn't anything but the noodles. He kept yelling at someone in the background and finally comes back to me and says because I didn't open it last night (and doesn't understand why I didn't), he can only offer me $5. I told him I guess I just won't order from them again, and he hung up on me. You would think a business would at least apologize rather than making it seem it's your fault. Very rude to your customers!! Only reason I didn't give them one star was the shrimp and broccoli was good and the driver was very nice, and I tipped him 20% which I believe in doing for good service. The rest of the staff needs a lesson on good business etiquette.

Disgusting. Everything was nasty. The chicken wings all the wings the meat was black. Dumplings so thick you can eat them. Sauce is nasty. Rice had strips of fat. Don't go there.
