“I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. Recently, renovated, outside area as well. With, it’s about time, new bathrooms!Vegetarian options: There’s so many vegetarian options, especially with all of their specials.Dietary restrictions: If you need something they will accommodate you.Parking: They have handicap on the side of the building, as well as in the back of the building, which is the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Brought my kids, since they were very little. “I really like this spot. I’m a long haul trucker, and I come here specifically for one bartender, because she’s so welcoming, kind, attentive, and helpful. She came outside to get me while I was smoking because she didn’t want my food to get cold! Now that’s good service! Truly good at what she does. Also doesn’t hurt that she’s very easy in the eyes. Boneless wings were great and priced under $10, but domestic drafts were a little expensive at $5. The bar was very slow for a Sat night and someone was playing terrible rap music on the jukebox. “Apple Jacks is great. The owner John fixed me and hubby up back in 1987. The bar is really fun and they don't only have parties they have parties for the kids to. When my kids were little they had a big party and put a jumping blow up thing in the parking lot for the kids and they also got Ralph the other owner dress up as Santa Clause and have the kids sit on his lap and get presents.“
