Amazing food and great service! We tried most of the vegetarian appetizers and they were all outstanding! For main course we ordered Malai Kofta and Daal Tadka and they were good too! Their homemade rasmalai was excellent! Service was spot on! The manager Rushit was very friendly and attentive! The ambience was very cool too! Highly recommend this place!

Food was awesome. Great service. Manager Rushit came out twice to check on us. Excellent experience which even bit our experience with previous restaurant Palace of Asia. Happy to see Urban Spice opening here.

Small group (10 people ) of us went dinner to Urban Spice on Feb 9th and did not have good experience. Appetizers and ambience are good but none of the curries ( Veg and Non-Veg) are tasty. Looks like they were not freshly cooked and just reheated in microwave. We also ordered chicken biryani and its taste is not up to the mark. You can visit this restaurant if you want to eat only appetizers.

I was super excited to try this new Indian restaurant! When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat in the beautiful dining area. Rakesh and Rifat were my servers, and they were great! I started with some Merlot. I was then served several items from the menu which included the Dahi Bhalia, Tulsi Paneer Tikka, Maloo Mutter, Samosa, Malal Kofta, Dal Makhani, Assorted Bhajiya, Fish, Amritari, Kadhai Paneer, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, and the Vegetable Biryani. I also had the Radmalai and Gulab Jamun for dessert. My favorite was absolutely the butter chicken and the dal bhalia! I had so much food I was stuffed! I met the chefs and the owner, and they were awesome as well! I had an excellent experience!

The butter chicken is so tasteful and creamy! The tandoori bread is one of the best i had. Great service too. A bit slow on Tuesday but I am sure this place will be packed in the weekend.

We used to get food all the time from here when it was Palace of Asia and we loved it!! Under new ownership now and it absolutely sucks!! Raised the prices and lowered the portions by A LOT. Taste is terrible, service is even worse! They claim themselves a “high end establishment” to try to justify the extreme price hike but fail to live up to the “hype”. Was also very excited to find out the bar will be opening up again but not planning on returning after this experience and I honestly hope they won’t last at this location for too long!!

Stay away! We live in the area and really enjoyed Palace of Asia as they offered a delicious menu but we thought we would offer our support to the new owners and welcome them to the Neighborhood. However i instantly noticed the prices increased by 25% and the portions were 50% less. We ordered two orders of the chx tikki Marsala and the tandoori mix grill from the app menu with some Nan. Cost 100 dollars. The worst part is the food quality and taste is just horrible. Honestly the worst Indian cuisine in central NJ. The flavors lacked any resemblance of what was once offered by the previous owners. It was bitter and bland with subpar ingredients. And the funny thing is the front of house manager I welcomed to the area boasted that they were a high cuisine restaurant now. Please don’t hurt your taste buds and choose another local place. Yuck.

Heard good things about this place when it was called palace of Asia.. we saw it changed names and decided to give it a try.We arrived and the person at the front desk didn’t really speak English and didn’t understand that we were “checking in.” He had to call someone else over who then seated us… The website said it had a full bar so we did not BYOB.. The server approached us and Asked for our drink order… We asked for a wine list or cocktail list, he said they didn’t have either. Even though there was a full bar!! He said we could not order any cocktails so we just ordered a glass of house red.The food was so-so, and the service was so so… Our server also didn’t speak English really well.. There was eight of us eating, and at the end of the night our server brought us a completely different bill for a different table… considering where we live, and there are 1000 Indian restaurants around, we will never return back to this place. It’s a lovely venue for parties but I would never recommend anybody to go have a meal there. If you’re looking for an amazing Indian restaurant with a great vibe and great food and great service… Samudra is a place to go, and we should’ve just stuck with what we knew.

I recently tried the gulab jamun and dahi papdi chaat at this restaurant, and it was amazing! The traditional flavors were spot on, and the quality was top-notch. The serving presentation was impressive, and the staff's approach was fantastic. Kudos to the restaurant for a delightful dining experience!
