I have never posted a review before. This was the first time because I was very disappointed with italy's best. I ordered a pizza, and it was full of grease. Also, cheese ravioli and the sauce was extremely watery. I called and spoke to Pasquale about my order, and he was extremely rude. This restaurant does not deserve the one star that I had to give it.

Food is great if the right chef is working the day you order for delivery but two times out óf 5 I ordered the same dish and it did not taste anywhere close to what I previously ordered and lover. Too bad management doesn't insure what leaves the kitchen is the same no matter who is preparing it.

Best pizzeria in Lakehurst Manchester area. Authentic Italian. Great pizzeria starts with a great dough and sauce recipe. They got it.

We were regular customers till today. Ordered for delivery. Driver accused us of not answering. We have a ring camera and received no alert. He claimed he knocked. Two people and my dog never heard a knock. Driver must have called their job as they called us to say he was there. We answered the door apologizing. Driver was hostile and threatened to kick my husbands ass. . I called this business to get their employee off my property. Business only replied employees are hard to find.Food thrown out due to fear of driver tampering with.

Been going to this joint for a quick bite and they never fail!!! Love the crew and the food. Unlike any other pizza place. I promise you!!

After waiting 75 minutes for delivery we called to check on our food. They told us it would be there any minute. After another few minutes I walked out to see if there was someone trying to find our house. I then saw our delivery driver at the end of our driveway shoveling food into her mouth. Before I could ask her what she was doing, she quickly grabbed our food and handed it to me. When we called to report the incident to the owner he offered no apology nor expressed any contrition at all. The food with the exception of being cold, was typical and unremarkable. Neither good nor bad. We believe in giving second chances especially if management or the owner had taken responsibility. Since the opposite happened I am disinclined to take responsibility for his continued success.

Delicious pizza, crisp salad, great service, and friendly staff--all we expect. The restaurant was bustling on a Saturday night, but the vibe was lively and friendly. Warnings: 1) The two of us ordered a "small" pizza; it was huge and could easily have fed six people. 2) It was very noisy so conversation was difficult.

I came to this place with my family who is local to Lakehurst. I have never been before and I was happy with my experience. We came right in the heart of Dinner so the service was really slow. The food made up for it though as our table had slices of pizza, lasagna, cutlet sandwich, and a cheesesteak. I had a chicken bacon ranch slice and a cheesesteak slice and they were great. It's a standard NJ italian pizza joint that serves a little bit of everything.

We walked in thinking this was a pizza place, nope! I pizza place and full restaurant!They have slices up front then a huge restaurant in the back.It's pretty good Italian food.4 stars for very slow service and not the most traditional Italian but nonetheless, a great spot that you won't be disappointed by.The slices and bread service are the MVP in my eyes.They have all the slices you could want from traditional to the different Jersey styles {salad pizza!}My husband loved the cheesesteak slice!Very accessible and lots of parking!

If this is Italy's best, then we are in trouble. The good: The wait staff is very accommodating, and the bread basket is warm and delicious. There are white table clothes and actual napkins on the table. It could be so nice.The bad: The rest of the food. I don't think anything was homemade at this restaurant. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer, and it was as expected, the same as at every single other restaurant. What we did not expect was the tomato dipping sauce tasted like Ragu out of a jar, not a drop of seasoning.We got a beef barley soup and a pasta fagioli soup. Both soups were of Campbell's soup quality, with the small, strange cut up unrecognizable few pieces of beef? in the soup. My husband ordered Veal Saltimbocca. This dish was literally drowned in a brown sauce that tasted like a sweet soy sauce was added. Definitely the wrong sauce for the dish, and it was dripping in so much grease that he had to put the veal onto the bread plate. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The chicken appeared to be one of those preformed frozen chicken patties. Two "deli" type slices of chicken, certainly not an actual piece. Same unseasoned sauce as on the fried calamari. We got a large, undercooked stalk of broccoli as the vegetable, and that was thrown in with the baked potato that had been quickly stir fried with some garlic and oil, rendering them both dripping in oil.The ugly: The restaurant was freezing cold. Everyone was wearing a jacket or sweater.

My hubby and I are originally from Jersey and now live in NH. We were visiting family and my hubby said he had never tried a pepper and egg sub. Our family suggested Italy’s best and hubby was not disappointed! The sub was fresh , hot, delicious and priced reasonably! Huge so he shared ! The bread was especially good ! Definitely will visit again!
