The boathouse is an excellent place to get drinks before a dinner. There are no food options here. When you go, it gives you “Ivy League” Clubhouse vibes. Not too noisy either so perfect place to carry on a good conversation.

my girlfriend and i were recommended this place by some locals we met and WOW. couldn’t be happier with the tip. some of the best cocktail bar ambience i’ve ever experienced — insanely cozy and perfect for a date night. we were seated on a velvet couch and i never wanted to leave! they don’t have mocktails on the menu but our server was incredibly friendly and we easily worked out a nonalcoholic option for me. my girlfriend loved The Garden State cocktail. we’re so excited to go again next time we’re in the area!

A cozy little place for a drink having nautical themed decor. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but they are made well. The ambience is a bit "Snooty". This is a good place to go with a friend to quietly sip on a cocktail. One time I was there the bartender actually asked a couple of gentlemen to be more quiet.

Tis a real bar. I like it. Not a lot of space downstairs but they were perfectly happy to give me a table earlyish on a Saturday and serve me a proper Manhattan.

The ambiance and drinks were 5 out of 5. All the drinks we tried were amazing and definitely something we would come back for. If you want to grab a cocktail or two before a dinner reservation you won't find better tasting drinks. The reason I'm giving the review 3 stars is the service. This was our first time coming here, we met friends upstairs, and we were never told there isn't cellphone usage on the second floor. It was my wife's birthday and she got a call from a friend and answered, the waitress oddly starred at her two feet away for about a or so before saying there's no cellphones and told her she needed to get off of it. My wife said sorry someone was just calling to wish her a happy birthday and the waitress wished her a happy birthday and then said you still can't be on your phone. I would want to give this a lower star rating because it was an avoidable instance and I believe handled rudely, but this was just a split second in our visit and everything else was amazing.

I thought for sure this place was gone because it's that hard to find, but, it is there. Well hidden, off of the road. Good drink menu and great service. The reason for 4 stars is the my old fashioned was very weak. I'm sure there was more soda than whiskey in it.
The server was amazing, and I like the whole presentation of the space, but that old bartender with the glasses is the worst. So full of attitude, for no reason, that we just left. Who wants to be around that kind of person honestly. Why go back?

Amazing spot you’d never guess was in Lambertville! Felt like a seaside pub plucked right out of the English coast. Nautical themed and covered floor to ceiling in decor. Drinks were good, atmosphere was better. Please note they serve no food here, just drinks.
