Been a customer of Alex's for 20 plus years. Never a bad meal. Great atmosphere, great service. Donna is a class hostess. Highly recommend it to everyone.

What a lovely dinner! The handwritten menu is a fun exercise in focus, took us maybe 10 minutes to read. Ambiance is very peaceful. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp linguine fra diavolo. Perfectly done. It was fun being able to see into the kitchen as well.

An early dinner with friends. A 530pm reservation we were seated promptly by the hostess. The place has about 12 tables and the kitchen is open in the back right corner. A decent view but not totally open to view. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is a byob and we had wine. I got the octopus as a starter and the eggplant. The octopus was delicious served in a salad presentation a bit too much stuff in there for me but it was fine. The eggplant was served as slices over a gigantic portion of thin spaghetti covered in a fine red sauce. There was not a lot of eggplant on top but it was tasty and a bit crispy. My expectation was for eggplant not pasta with some eggplant. But the dish was great and the portion large. I ate it all. A very good Italian restaurant. There are scores in the area. We would return when in Lambertville. Mark & Nancy.

What a fantastic restaurant that my wife and I found by accident. The service is over the top and only adds to the amazing food that comes out of a glass kitchen all night. It's like being at a culinary show if you care to pay attention. We are going back soon. If you don't go when in Lambertville, your trip was 100% incomplete. Oh, and it's BYOB, NICE!!!!

Very good food served in a cute, warm environment. I will say the reviews talking about not getting the warm fuzzier from the staff doesn't surprise me. You can see it in there waiting....

Hopeful for an enjoyable meal, and alternative to the closed Hamilton Grill, but this was not it. Atmosphere is very nice, menu rather limited, staff is friendly but not very informative on the selections. I was advised that the pasta with prosciutto was a great choice, it was so salty that it was not edible. Their response was that 'the prosciutto is very salty.' Shouldn't that have been accounted for in the recipe - do they not taste what they serve? Thought to try dessert, which they did not charge us for, but the connoli cream did not taste like any connoli cream I've ever tasted, and the lemon tart was way too sweet...neither of which we finished. Also important to note that no one ever came to the table to ask how our meal was. I guess we need to keep looking.

The food is excellent and the service is always good. The space is beautiful. Chef always features interesting specials like seared rare tuna and short ribs, delicious pork chops and the usual menu items of fresh salads, creative appetizers and Italian Parmigiana and pasta dishes are great. BYOB is a plus for our girls night group because we like to save money. Try it! You won't be disappointed.

Tonight, we are at the Broadmoor for the first time. I can assure you that any time we come back to visit we will dine there again. The food was incredible. Each dinner had layers of flavor that were brilliant. Jackie, our server, was so kind and so knowledgeable/helpful. And the atmosphere was perfect. What a great Christmas Eve dinner we just had. Thank you to the folks at Broadmoor. We will be back!!

Drove an hour to be rushed through dinner because they are taking too many reservations. From the time we sat down to the time we left it was exactly one hour.We ordered an appetizer that came out 5 minutes after our order was placed. Our entrees were out the minute we finished our appetizer. When it came to dessert I heard one of the servers complain about another table ordering desert because they had a group of people waiting for a table. Very uncomfortable as the group was hovering over our table while being asked by the server if they would like their wine to be opened while they wait for a table.Come here if you like being rushed and chugging a nice bottle of red wine at dinner.

The food and service were highly rated. Unfortunately, it was very hard getting reservations for this cute and cozy restaurant due to their hours being from 4-9pm.

second visit tonight. I'm stuck between a 3 and 4. 4 for the BYO! Food and service is all very solid. Best apps are the chicken liver pate and the grilled octopus. Dont get the roasted pepper jawn...kinda boring. Garlic bread is very light on the garlic and butter. Pastas are all very good, no matter which one you get. I had prosciutto pasta...aces. Tried the Seafood linguine and the pasta purses with cream and Gorgonzola (very rich)...both very good. Steak was just Ok for 60 $bones, smothered on gravy and mashed potatoes, I don't think it was a $60 cut. Halibut was also OK. Everything was underseasoned...I guess you have to cater to the odd hypertensive that walks in....but please don't make me ask for salt. We sat down right at 5...we were the first 5pm party to arrive. Appetizers were on our table no less than 2 minutes after taking our order...and entrees were being placed before the appetizers were done. We we're out the door (7 of us!) well before 6pm. Disappointing
