love megs. it's a smallish comfortable and very cozy. I'm local so I can take advantage of megs in the off season . it still attracts a crowd but not too bad. the food is excellent. I love their pancakes, or omelets. my,kids have had other food here and love it. I've also had lunch here and love their chicken salad. Recommend it highly.

New visitors to Lavellette and were in search of a place to eat. Asked some people strolling along Grand Central for suggestions. With no hesitation, their recommendation was Meg's Grill. We headed to Meg's where it was a busy Sunday morning. Our wait was very brief. Ambient conversation among patrons and employees was upbeat and casual. Service was great and our meals were excellent. We found the word on the street to be true... go to Meg's grill.

Took the day off for a girls' day with my sister & daughter. We made our way their for breakfast like we always do. Their food is so good & fresh. We sat outdoors to soak in the sun that morning and watched everyone walking by and shopping in the local stores nearby. It's like going home. ?

Visited this restaurant several times during my visit to NJ and had a lovely experience. Unfortunately today there was extreme miscommunication with the staff that led them to call my party “dishonest” and say comments like “I thought Georgia people were sweet” when we stuck up for ourselves for an issue they had caused. It was the personal insults from the staff that will not have us coming back.
