Hadn't been there for years. We had a satisfactory experience but not as good as we had hoped. The menu choices were rather limited. My husband's entre was very nice but my salmon dish was lack luster and bland. Herbs and spices were missing. The service was very good and hopefully with the introduction of some more interesting entrees, we would be more enthusiastic about Acacia. We definitely will try them again.

We find the staff to be very warm and inviting. They always have time to answer any questions we may have. And the food is always very good. We appreciate that they make the effort to serve all of us at the same time. Kudos for a job well done. P.S. we loved the Seal Cove oysters. We will be back soon.

The food was excellent. The staff was attentive but unobtrusive. We were there with a large party and everything went very smoothly. Definitely recommend for date night or any excuse to have a nice meal. Parking is around back, so if you're not a local, it can be a little tricky.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level no stairs at all.

I started off with oysters on the half shell and they were fresh and tasty. I had a caesar salad which was a good portion and good. Next came the fish and chips which was excellent! The fish was nicely battered and fried. I especially like the way the fish is served as three long flat portions that can be picked up and dipped into the very good tarter sauce. The only downside side is it can get a little noisy when crowded. Very good food at a fair price.

The food was very, very good. both my wife and I were pleased. The service was attentive and at times excellent, but there were a few misses in terms of offering alternatives. At times the servers seemed rushed. This is nit-picking but service was just below outstanding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Acacia. We had the special, crab cake sandwich, and we agreed that crabcakes are not a New Jersey specialty. There was nothing wrong with it. It just wasn't what we're used to. We thoroughly enjoyed the french fries. It was quiet,we stayed from 12 until 245 and never felt like we were rushed. We were meeting old friends that we hadn't seen since Christmas time and we wanted to catch up on all our travels. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Great place to dine. The food was excellent and hot when brought out. We had the fried calamari, and smash burgers. Both were excellent. We would definitely eat here again. The waiter was friendly and have recommendations on the menu. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. Prices were reasonable as well.

Our dinner last Saturday night was over the top. We each had a special: fluke, and oxtail ravioli. The fluke was perfectly baked under a layer of breadcrumbs, surrounded by vegetables, including some white beans. I'm a pasta junkie and the huge ravioli stuffed with a spicy oxtail mix and swimming in delicious sauce made me very happy. The place was full for most of our visit, and unfortunately a few loud guests made it difficult to have a conversation. After they left, it was peaceful. We have been going to Acacia for many years, and are very happy to see the changes in their menu. Chef Chris really knocks it out of the park!

On Sat night, Feb 3 we hosted a birthday party with 26 guests. Lauren, of Acacia helped with excellent menu/seating plans 4 tables with appetizers brought out “family style”, followed by choice of salad, and each guest had a choice of 5 various entrees. The service was excellent, with food always presented hot, and at a nice pace. All guests expressed their pleasure with the excellent food. Becca and Hermes did an outstanding job “serving” the party. The cost was very reasonable, the staff was all very pleasant, and it’s in a very pleasant atmosphere.I highly recommend Acacia for your intimate meals, and for larger gatherings.Vegetarian options: We selected Fettucine Pistachio Pesto as a vegan selection. Those who ordered it were very happy.

Very good food (salads and appetizer, Beef Papradelle, Steak / Frites, Pork Special and Salmon) and service. Our favorite local restaurant whether it is just us or if we are entertaining guests. Becca (sp?) was our server on this visit and she was welcoming, friendly and professional. We look forward to returning (or ordering take out) soon.

Quality of the food has always been excellent and we have never been disappointed by anything we have ordered. Service has also been top-notch and servers always describe the specials so enticingly that usually at least one member of our party decides he or she has to try the special. The duck breast on the regular menu this time is one of the best dishes I have had in some time.

The food was delicious, large salads which can be shared. Our server was so very nice and provided excellent service. My friend and I certainly will go back - the salmon over a bed of rosotto was Devine.

Great to have a duck entrée return to the menu. It was simply delicious and I look forward to trying it again after sampling some of the other entrées on the new menu for the season.

We’ve been dining at Acacia for years and absolutely love the dining experience that Lauren and Chris (owners) consistently provide. Chris is an amazing chef who always finds a way to pair new and creative flavors to his dishes and Lauren is an absolute pleasure to work with in planning any event; large or small.
