5 stars all around! Now this review is STRICTLY off the food as we've never had the pleasure of dining in the restaurant (which we do want to come do!) as we frequently order takeout/delivery. The food is INCREDIBLE!!! By far the best Asian cuisine I've ever had. Everything is so fresh and tastes as though it was made from scratch to order (I wouldn't be surprised if it is, but I don't know for sure). Tons of flavor. Generous portions. FAST turnaround once ordered. We found modern fusion while looking for a sushi place that had Chinese food as my husband prefers Chinese while I prefer sushi. Modern fusions Chinese food made me love Chinese food it's that good! Sushi is by far the best in the area!

This restaurant is really good!! I enjoyed my chicken thai basil and pork dumplings so much that this will become my new takeout spot even though it is located out of the way from where I live!

Decided to get takeout today. We got shrimp with broccoli and a brown sauce, futamaki and a spicy tuna mango roll. The shrimp and broccoli was tasteless, the broccoli was overdone and the futamaki didn't have the right ingredients. The tuna roll was just okay. It's the day before easter, so maybe I got the b team.

Went for dinner with my wife and ordered Peking duck, it is no way near what the picture represented in terms of taste and presentation. Based on the pictures online, it comes across as a rather high-end Chinese restaurant, but that seems to only apply to the price. Very disappointed.

2.5 out of three ain't bad, or so the song says.... I've ordered take out from Modern Fusion 3 times in the last two weeks. First two orders were excellent. 3rd was good but not as good as the first two. I absolutely recommend the ho fun, wide flat rice noodles with your choice of meat (or veg). It has the flavor of a good wok hei which is really hard to find around here. Egg rolls are standard for our area and wonton soup has good flavor. Tonight's order consisted of a Philadelphia roll (made with soy paper) and Singapore rice noodles. Philly roll had a nice portion of salmon but a lot of cream cheese and no cucumber. I've never had a Philly roll with no cucumber in addition to so much cream cheese. Maybe they were out of cucumber or their version doesn't have it? Rice noodles were good but I wish I'd ordered the ho fun again. These didn't have the same oomph or the deep flavor of the ho fun. This establishment is definitely above average in the area and the staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are on the higher side but considering the higher quality, it's worth it. Also, they are noticeably generous with their proteins. I'll be a patron going forward but probably won't reorder tonight's dishes again. Give Modern Fusion a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had, especially for the price point. And I'm comparing this to NYC. The staff and owners are very friendly and attend to their customers. They take cash and credit card. We've lived here for 3 weeks and had food from here 4 times!!

Chinese restaurant next to Costco, Lawrenceville, NJ We had dinner 6pm on halloween. We ordered mogolian beef, shitake mushroom with bokchoy and shrimp drunken noodles. All the dishes were tasty and delicious. They serve lunch specials Monday to Saturday 11-3 pm. I will have to try their japanese and chinese lunch specials soon.
This is the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time and even better they delivered sooner than first thought! This is a restaurant that will be our go to for Chinese food!

Take Pan Fried Noodles off the menu!!! This is the worst dish I've ever eaten! Those noodles are burnt! Should be called Crunchy Noodles or Crispy Noodles. Disgusting. I'm sure someone somewhere eats that but the description is off. Vegetables and shrimp are in some gross sauce. I don't get it, very upset that I had to throw that entire dish away. Also, the egg rolls were not good. My husband ate his food which is why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1.

A HIDDEN GEM. Why does this place have such little reviews!? I came here with my boyfriend since we both couldn't decide whether to eat Chinese, Thai, or Japanese. This place had ALL three so we gave it a try. I was afraid the food wouldn't taste as good since many fusion restaurants I've tried were just mediocre since they didn't specialize in a certain type of dish. But, I was shocked at how amazing this place was. The food, the service, and the cleanliness was all a 10/10. We got a spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and spicy shrimp drunken noodles. Even though spicy tuna rolls and spicy salmon tolls are very generic and tastes the same almost everywhere, this place somehow made it taste slightly different and added in a crunch to the rolls. Such small details like this that made a huge difference. Even how they added in 8 pieces of huge jumbo shrimp in the drunken noodles plate was something I noticed and as surprised with. Just shows that they're not stingy with their food. Many other places would've only put 5 pieces of shrimp. It may seem silly to count the shrimp but imagine ordering a shrimp plate and barely having any shrimp! Had a great experience here overall and it's become our new go-to!

Fantastic overall. DoorDash'd. Reminded me of my favorite sushi spot in California called "ortoro" in Irvine. Unagi eel sushi (fire) Spicy Maki combo - uniform and well made Sashimi Sampler - delicious and cut well If you appreciate fresh sushi that top of the line. You should give this a try.

Ordered for the first time tonight through Uber eats, and I'll definitely be ordering again! Everything was tasty, made with fresh ingredients and the PERFECT temperature (which is a rare thing for me to find these days).
