It is the friendliest restaurant in New Jersey. The service, taste, and even the prices are very satisfactory.

Just land at Newark and stumbled across this restaurant. The staff quickly seated all 10 of us. They first served the complimentary tofu, kimchi, pickled veggies. I had the dumpling soup, which was spot on because I was feeling a little under the weather. Others had the spicy beef soup, short ribs soup, bibimbop, and fish. The food is so good!! We were surprised to get such good food for such a reasonable price. The only slightly negative is the we asked for separate checks but instead the split the bill evenly into 2 checks. When we explained the 2 people were on one order, they quickly fixed the mistake.

Melt-in-your-mouth Korean bbq. Must get rib eye and Saeng gal bi. They make 볶음밥 for you with the leftover meats and kimchi and it's DELICIOUS. Byob. Servers are attentive without being overly friendly. Some might feel they are not so friendly but they are frigging busy. They get their job done and they whip up delicious 볶음밥. I love them.

I felt like I was being treated as a nuisance instead of kindness just because I was busy. This is already the second time. I'm not forcing kindness. If you're busy, maybe you should hire more people. The taste is not the same as it used to be.

As the name suggests, I like it because every time I come here, the pork is always of good quality to the customers.

I know this place is meant to be a kbbq place but I came for the cutlassfish stew (갈치조림) and the beef tripe soup. Yo, the cutlassfish stew is better than Korea?! The tripe soup was okay, but the fish stew was out of this world, I craved it for the whole month. Don’t come here to for the ambience or service, come here for the food!!

Food was really good overall. We had steamed monkfish & bean sprouts with spicy sauce. It wasn't too spicy, the fish was tender and fresh. I rank this place #3 for this particular dish in the area (so i gave 5 star) The pork belly had a little too much fat on them lately. Meat to fat ratio is much to be desired (start taken off for this). other side dishes (반찬) are all pretty good. hotpot mixed rice (볶음밥) one the dribble after pork belly bbq was a great finish of another satisfying dinner. It's a small place, so they will give you a check as soon as you are about to be done. You will notice there are lines of people waiting near the door to take your table. Atmosphere is in line with bbq-at-the-table like this.

Overall food was great. Typical Korean food. Great banchan (side dishes) and our servers (korean ladies) were great. Definitely will go back and try other dishes.

I never write a review for restaurants like this especially negative ones but here we are. It is certainly the WORST KBBQ service in the area of Palisades Park, Fort Lee, and Leonia combined and here are the reasons why1) Instructed us to go towards the back room and never let us know that the meat will be grilled in the back and brought out to us…never been to a KBBQ restaurant like that2) meat came out without any side dishes, plates, silverware ready. Just stared at the meat for good 5-10 mins overcooking3) one of the meat had paper towel on it so I brought it up to the waitress for her to just reply back and tell me “we wrap our meat in paper towels”Uh so you want the customers eat it and not complain about it?Do NOT go here and save you and your loved ones time. Thank you for reading!

Very authentic Korean, no frills kind of restaurant. No music, no overly talkative waiters etc. You can BYOB and there's a liquor store next door. We bought some soju to go with our meal. When you ask for a table, they'll ask if you're getting BBQ or traditional. You get to cook the meat on your table. We didn't do the BBQ this time but it smelled delicious. Food was on the salty side, it wasn't the best yookgaejang I've had. The squid stir fry was better. Portions are HUGE. I'd recommend ordering less than the number in your party and just sharing everything. Side dishes are tasty! And you can get a refill on them. Come with a Korean friend if you can, it'll be easier to order and translate the menu.
