The older lady tonight had extremely rude attitude and service was horrible .. the ice cream I watched her scoop the ice from the side of the freezer into my ice cream sooo gross ?.. it tasted disgusting ?.. I have been going her for many years and I won’t ever go back .. hillside is better now this old lady just killed it for me. My daughter’s cookies and crème shake tastes like old spicy cookies or pumpkin no idea ?♂️ why ? They asked to pay $.50cents for each spoon ???? Who pays 50cents for a spoon .. you should fire the old rude lady and go back to the way you used to make ice cream it tastes like ice milk it’s obvious you don’t use the ratio of milk it’s bad not same .. definitely check out hilltop or other places this place went downhill and hired rude old ladies never ? again

I LOVE this place! I have been coming here since I was in high school in the early 2000s and their products NEVER disappoint! The lines get very long in the summer but it is totally worth it. The parking can get rough so I would definitely carpool.

Lena’s is on the corner of my street and I am fortunate to know the owner who is a great guy and gives special attention to his staff and business. All ice cream and water ice choices are delicious with a large menu. Lena’s is the biggest ice cream spot in the area. Highly recommended!

I love water ice and growing up in Philly I prefer local homemade water ice, so I decided to give Lena's a try. The cherry and blueberry were pretty good. Didn't enjoy the mango. Another thing to note: I was called sweetie, honey, young lady more than I could count and that's not something I prefer. Some people may find this endearing. If you do not, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Tried this place for the first time on a whim and I’m definitely happy I decided to stop. Tried the cinnamon ice cream and it was absolutely decadent! Really, really friendly customer service as well. Great place to visit and highly recommend.
