I ordered buckwheat noodles, but the soup was very bland and tasteless. The kimbap is smaller than other places...and the service is strange...I don't think I'll go there again.

The food was really delicious and the amount was really good for the price. It's been a while since I've seen Korean food, so I ordered a lot of things other than snacks. I ordered the tteokbokki set that the staff highly recommended, and it was really delicious! Thank you for recommending it! Be sure to eat tteokbokki! It was spicy and the sauce was very thick, so it was really delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant itself was very clean. I’ll visit again next time~Food is very delicious - highly recommend fried chicken sets, Ttokbokki, and galbi! Price was reasonable and employees were so kind. They even recommended me a menu :) I’ll visit this place when I visit NJ again.

I wish I had a higher rating because the food is really good but the service needs a lot of work. Every time I dine in, it’s impossible to get the attention of the host to check out. The last time we were there, it took the lady thirty minutes to get her attention. She never once looked our way and she even checked out people beforehand who were seated AFTER us. Still, I try to ignore it because I really like the food and atmosphere. My last straw was when my partner ordered through DoorDash one hour prior to closing. The order passed its ETA so he decided to walk in and check on the status. Only for him to come out with 1/3 of our food because they failed to look at their orders and could no longer make the food for us. Totally fine, mistake happen. However, she tells him that if he still gets charged that we could come back and get two free rolls on the house… how is that even free if we get charged? Also, one hour later and the DoorDash order is still pending because she didn’t and would not cancel it on her end… even though she said they should have when we initially ordered. I won’t be returning to this location—not that it matters for their business. It’s thriving. I wish this place the best but the staff needs to be trained to have better hospitality and learn how to navigate their ordering systems. We will be filing a claim with our credit card company since DoorDash thru Google does not have an active line.Changing my two stars to one after I reviewed other comments from people that confirmed the lack of attention and coldness I always felt coming here. Will be letting my friends know not to come here.

Me and my bf was so excited to try this new restaurant esp its near to my bf's house. Unfortunately, we we're kinda disappointed of the food that I ordered which is the Hot Stone Bulgogi with rice, it was tasteless. I'd rather eat the bulgogi inside the food store in H-Mart than here in restaurant.

1. Food is delicious. Ordered the scallion chicken and octopus with porkbelly...the way people were lined up I expect everything else was good too.2. Very busy so service was a little strained but they managed everything well without delay3. It's a Bunshik. Atmosphere is not romantic or anything, it's a place you go for comfort food. Thus, the four stars, but it is brightly lit and very clean.4. Price is normal, guess. Paid 72 including tip for the two items so...

This place is one of my all time favorites. We go here a little too much. We always get their fried chicken which comes in a huge portion and amazing sauce to pair with it. Their other dishes are amazing too like the stir fried pork belly and squid, and their carbonara. Be ready to bring back a lot of left overs because portions are huge no matter what you get. They also have limited time soups that are so delicious. 100% recommend everyone that likes korean food to try this place.

I recently discovered this gem of a place. I went with some friends during the week and met the owner who was so chill and attentive to his customers. The service is very good and the atmosphere very aesthetically pleasing. The food was very flavorful. The portions are massive hence why the prices are a little high which I’m not mad about. The pictures on the menu do not do it justice. I’m in love with their Chicken mayo Dupbab, Cheese Tonkatsu, Bulgogi Tteokbokki, and boneless fried chicken w/ scallions. There is definitely something for everyone.

Never felt so uncomfortable eating someplace. Got my order wrong & didn't seem to care when pointed out as when they 'fixed' it, gave me the wrong food again. Waitress blatantly cold to us, was more welcoming to Korean customers. Can tell me otherwise, but the difference in treatment/demeanor was obvious. Doesn't take much just to be nice to people.

Bunsik is like a Korean diner. After a long day at a conference we were looking for something warm, filling, and tasty. Mom suggested we give this a try. We ordered shrimp fried rice, fried fish platter, and kimchi fried rice with ham and eggs and ribs. The shrimp fried rice was a smidge bland but soy sauce fixed that. Everything tasted freshly prepared. The fish and their version of tartar sauce was perfectly fried and tasty. Great crunch. My kimchi was a smidge spicey but not unbearable and it was good eating. We had leftovers. I normally make my own kimchi casserole but I'd happily eat Bunsik's! Service was ok. It got better as the meal went on.
