Kissui Sushi is a casual, neighborhood sushi place. We always get a warm reception when we walk in. It’s been around for many years. Nowadays it seems a bit quiet and slightly dated but we always enjoy getting a quick, reasonably priced dinner here. The rolls are fresh and I like their salad dressing, it has a great sesame flavor, I prefer it over the orangey ones that other Japanese restaurants serve. The miso soup is full of tofu and seaweed, they certainly don’t skimp on the goodies in the soup. The tempura is lightly fried and yummy.

Words cannot explain how magnificent this place truly is. I had a 10/10 satisfactory with the friendly waiter who gave me excellent customer service. I absolutely LOVE the fried rice here! I gave some to my child and to no surprise everything was eaten. I also ate their chicken miso soup and the broth is so refreshing. Tastes homemade and has a kick to it! Pork Dumplings didn’t disappoint either.

I really like this place. The bento box is good. I am not a fan of their shrimp dumplings of sorts that come in the box, they are a little to fishy for me. Always a great, fresh meal. We have our favorite items but have not had a bad meal. Eating in can be a little slow if busy, but a great spot otherwise. I have been to a bunch of sushi places locally, and I think this is the best!
Dined here last night. For the most part, we always enjoy the food. However, I developed a bad case of food poisoning from this establishment. I typically never write reviews, but felt this was necessary to mention to prevent other people from getting sick. Definitely am questioning their cleanliness and preparation, will not return.

Never fails. You call in an order they tell you 45 min. You arrive 1 hour later they say another 15 min and won’t start your order u til you pay. That 15 min is sometimes more like 30 min. Food is great, good value but the service is terrible

It's a shame that I write this review as I am waiting for a take out order that has taken 55 minutes from the time I called and still isn't ready. Added frustration since they said 35 minutes for pick up. I would have left except they took my credit card for payment and tell me 5 minutes in the restaurant. There food isn't bad but these excessive waits and mis-quotes on timing have forced me to not order from here again. I like to support local but I don't need to have the frustration. I left livid. Stop lying to your clients.
