I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at this restaurant. As a customer with a dairy and gluten allergy, I have repeatedly faced issues with my order being incorrect. Despite my specific requests for a salad with grilled chicken, pear, and gorgonzola cheese on the side for my mother, my order arrived mixed up with the cheese already added to my salad. This has happened twice within a week, and I have decided to stop patronizing this establishment. The fact that the restaurant does not cater to those with food allergies is unacceptable. Furthermore, the arugula in my salad was stale and watery, which significantly detracted from my dining experience. Moreover, the server never checked on us if we needed additional napkins or plates. Lastly, I find it unprofessional for the staff to refer to a customer as "complicated" due to my allergies. We are not returning to this restaurant again.

Ordered dinner for pick-up this evening. 2 salads with salmon- stressed for salmon to be moist, medium rare. Both orders had salmon completely over cooked, dry and inedible.Veggie burger dish was good.Last dish was penne vodka with grilled chicken, chicken also overcooked and inedible.Spent $100 on 4 dishes, only the veggie burger was good. I will never order from here again.

Disappointed by Discontinued Vegan PancakesThis restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious food, but I'm deeply disappointed by a recent change. As a customer who has been here quite a few times in the past (5-6 visits), I was thrilled with their vegan pancakes, a unique offering within a 20-mile radius. I even recommended them to many friends, some of whom traveled specifically for them (and I had to recently inform them otherwise)Unfortunately, during my latest visit, I learned the chef had removed the vegan pancakes from the menu. When I inquired, the waiter explained that the new chef simply didn't want to keep them.This change is incredibly frustrating. The vegan pancakes were a true highlight, drawing both myself and others to the restaurant. It's especially disappointing as their quality rivaled even those at the renowned all-vegan Spiral Diner in Dallas.While the staff remains friendly and helpful, losing the vegan pancakes significantly diminishes my experience.I highly recommend and urge the restaurant to PLEASE reconsider and bring back this unique and delicious menu item.Vegetarian options: They have a variety that is limited (a lot of items have eggs). They are also open to modifying items which is nice!Kid-friendliness: They have high-chairs for kids, and a kid menu. They should also get booster seats imo.

The food is just so amazing. My family and I go here for breakfast even though it’s out of our way. The service and staff is the best. Get there early or risk waiting, because everyone who go there once knows that Sweet Basil is the best.
