I have been going to Panevino for 15+ years and they’ve never missed. Their Caesar salad is the best on the planet. Get any brick oven pizza and you’ll be happy. The scialatelli is my favorite but I substitute the pancetta for spinach and I think that balances the dish more. Also! Make sure you try their very original can’t get anywhere else, orange iced tea. We LOVE this place!

The world's worst eggplant parm and thought I've seen it all! It's all mushed eggplant with no breading. It's like eating baby food for top dollar. My girlfriend and I were both disgusted by it as we tried to determine what exactly it was. I rate Italian places by their eggplant parm and this is why they are only getting a one star. Our waitress made a wait to take our money, we had to walk to the front. She could see I was disgusted by the meal and never offered us a desert or something to make up for disastrous meal.

The restaurant was over booked so wait was long our waiter had to clean glasses and make tea in between handling his tables forget to bring my double espresso I wasn't charged for it but

While the food has always been good, there has been a significant deterioration in the organization of the kitchen and the service. We watched as people who were seated after us were served first, and finished their meal before our entrees arrived. We had to ask more than once for our beverages. A table next to us waited a considerable amount of time for their order to be taken. Another table that was there before us had not even received their entree when we were done with the meal.

Disappointing. Brought the wrong order for one of us. So one person was finished by the time the other correct order came. Order was still different than how described - substantially. Waitress shrugged - yeah they probably changed it. Food under seasoned and not hot. Greeter could care less. Place has gotten run down and no one seems in charge. After 20 years of patron-ship, time to move on.

The food and service were great. We sat at the bar and our bartender was attentive and knew the menu very well

A $25 corkage fee discourages visitors from bringing their own wine, but the restaurant's list of wines is mediocre (despite the vino in the title). The eggplant parmigiano appetizer was tasty. The penne with tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. We ordered a pizza without the prosciutto, but it was brought to the table with prosciutto on it. Poor coordination between the waiter and the kitchen. The side of roasted mushrooms was just OK -- a bit overcooked and dried out.

Since the day it opened, my parents have eaten here, this being my first time. Going in shortly after they opened and the music system is loud . . . very loud, the whole joint is loud. Just sound bouncing around and uncomfortably so. They need some curtains, anything to absorb it. The waiter had to repeat everything as we could not hear/make out what he was saying. A Stella would have hit the spot, but they were out. Fried calamari comes and woof, greasy. Tasty, but so greasy. Soup-of-the-day, Barley Vegetable, it was passable. Salmon a bit overcooked. Ravioli was the biggest disappointment, chewy, the sauce was too sweet (was it supposed to be sweet at all?) . . . yet, the meatballs were better-than-good. Pizza definitely needed two more minutes in the oven, (the artichokes topping, very good). Crazy that the Panevino sign outside has glaring lights shining straight through the window. At the end of the meal, we couldn't understand (and felt we missed out on) the 4.5 rating.

Under staffed, it took 30 minutes just to get our drinks. Food came out an hour later and it was not what I ordered. Other food was undercooked the chicken parm was cold and dry had very little marinara sauce.

Service was way below average. Waitress was extremely inattentive. Had to ask for drinks. Midway was not offered any drinks or attention. When asked for a second round it did not come until after we were done eating. No appologies. Nothing!! This waitress should be in another business. Definitely not a people person!!! Food is still good! But not worth the hassle.

I come here maybe 7 times a year...I know for a certainty im NOT invisible?!? I'm Brown skin and very, very, very hard to miss! But apparently, Im very easy to ignore...Make of this what you will:At 7:40 p.m., I sat at the bar with my coat on HOPING to order takeout and a drink while I waited. Bartender must have passed me 15 times. Okay, it is very busy here. I get that. So I get up and order takeout at the door with the manager. Tried to order a drink but told to talk to the bartender!??It's NOT happening! Then the takeout comes...8pm...Still waitingAnd then...A woman who looks like a regular regular plops her butt at the bar and almost immediately gets set up with: a plate, a fork, a spoon, a napkin, and a drink!Boom!Seriously? Now I get annoyed and rightly so. Then, the bartender gets a bigger attitude ? than I have. It's now 8:09pmDid you really expect that I should make the drink myself?I'm having my drink at the Landmark instead. Nice people!Kudos to the manager for trying, or I would still be sitting there like a fool! Service comes at a price, but I pay the price. There is a way to treat people.

A reliable go-to local restaurant! I love the generous hours (I usually end up heading here at like 3PM, when many other spots are closed) and the outdoor seating option. There’s also an “almost outdoor” option, like an enclosed terrace which is great year round. As far as food options, I recommend the eggplant parm, any of the pizzas, and the pasta salad. The orange iced tea is always a great refreshing pick! The bread basket is also delicious. My one big complaint is that they allow cell phone use inside the restaurant. This is now the second time here where my serene dining experience was marred by another patron, sitting alone and speaking loudly on her cell phone for the *entire meal* nonstop. She even had the person on speakerphone. AND she was cursing. It really ruins the dining experience for other patrons and should not be acceptable. Many establishments have a “no cell phone use” rule, and Panevino should establish that type of rule ASAP.
