I was ecstatic when I found out J&S was opened. I relocated from Lodi 45+ years ago (back in the Visentini days...) to Central/South Jersey. Always come back to the area for my favorite food stops, and J&S is now always on the list because everything they serve and offer is of outstanding quality. I highly recommend the Veal, and I hope Tripe is still on the menu on Wednesdays... BRAVO J&S!!

I did curbside so wasn't inside to comment abt atmosphere, but looks pretty nice in pics. My sandwich & macaroni sandwich were good & sub roll was packed w coldcuts. I like that you can chose seeded or no seed sub rolls. Lady who took care of me was pleasant & courteous.Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies; eggplant; salads
Went for lunch with my son. The food is amazing. All homemade. Great family like atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The owner greeted us and made sure everything was good. I've been there a few times already and the food keeps us coming back for more. Love the homemade rice balls especially, however everything is awesome.

This has quickly become the girls lunch date!!!! May not be like other places we’ve gone, but the food keeps us coming back. Everyone finds something they like. Delicious!!!!! If it’s martinis that they want…. I have no problem whipping up a batch to bring along.

Better check your order before you leave the store. Paid $17.03 for a sandwich that was supposed to have mozzarella cheese. Arrived at the airport (which is where I planned on eating the sandwich instead of paying for airport food), only to see that it had no cheese. Just two pieces of dried bread with dried chicken. You'd think they'd know how to make a sandwich. Called to get a refund but the person I spoke with said he was not authorized to give a refund. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I ordered a catering order for 12. Meatballs, ziti marinara and a salad. All of the food was great. I eat lunch here once a week. Always top notch food. Staff is friendly and funny and efficient, just love it!
