I ordered and 18.00 Hamburger for my kid for dinner , he ordered it medium / weldone , and it came Rare , my kid wasnt so upset about that .... But he said to me did I do something that they didn't include lettuce and tomato!!??? Who sends a burger we no veggies and or any condiments in the bag , no ketchup, Mao or knife and fork . My kid says let's better go to lakewood were they know how do food. Call me for more questions 917-757-4510 This number is put up purposely to see owners care enough to call and make this right . Barside service is great, dining room decent. Food is sometimes amazing, sometimes mediocre. Fried chicken tends to be on the dry side. The atmosphere is average, nothing crazy but nothing horrible either. All in all great place that could use a bit of fine tuning. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at 656 Ocean last night! From the moment we walked in, the servers were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect, which really made our night special.And the food... wow! Every dish was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much to the staff for making our evening so wonderful!

We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to dine at 656 Ocean! The food and service were divine.We started the evening with a hearty chicken noodle soup; tasted just like mom's! A kani bowl with fresh rice and just the right amount of heat was served so beautifully. At the recommendation of our wonderful waitress, Cynthia, we decided to split a pulled beef nacho dish and a chicken Francese (lemon)....it was almost too pretty to eat. But, oh, we did!! Best chicken we have eaten in a restaurant in years. The pulled nacho tacos were fantastic.The cherry on top? The service! From Cynthia, our waitress to the entire crew, we felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. They were patient, efficient, polite, and created an atmosphere of true hospitality. Thank you Beverly for managing such an incredible team and to the owners for knowing how quality staff, along with a fine chef, can bring culinary experiences to be full body experiences.It was a night to remember. Thank you for an amazing memory and looking forward to coming back time and time again.
