I don’t know why they have bad reviews may be they have new chef now but place is really nice. Octopus was excellent. Drinks are so good. Friendly stuff. Definitely I will back!

They Advertise 1/2 price pitchers of Sangria all day. I Sit outside and am told no, only at bar unless I order food. They have all empty tables outside. So they lost a sale. How silly.

Me and my gf were in mood for Mexican food and googled this location. The atmosphere was nice and fun, our serve Shannon was very attentive and very friendly. We asked for drink recommendations, and she suggested the spicy cucumber which was beyond delicious. Food was also very good!
My wife and I decided to go for lunch came upon this place called Cantina food was good. Service was great. We sat at the bar. A young men named Dannell the bartender served us food and drinks. He really was a pleasure to be around. We had a great time. Definitely will come back for the food and service.
Went on 9.2.2023 and maybe understaff or something. Food served were not something I expect from a restaurant. 1. chicken quesadilla - chicken is dry and cheese is rubbery and not melted.2. Esquites tasted very weird. It seems like literally just corn covered with mayonnaise. 3. Nachos barely had any toppings4. Crispy pork belly was pretty much just sweet.

This place was a bit of a miss for me. The portions are small and very pricey, and the food itself wasn't anything special. The empanadas were oily and didn't have a lot of filling in it and the meat in the tacos was dry and chewy. The staff was really nice and the location is right on the beach so it is a beautiful view. It's definitely a nice place to go with a large group of friends. I didn't get their nachos, but I saw other tables that had it and it looked pretty good but overall I didn't think this place was any special is very basic.

Lovely location! It gets busy so be sure to make a reservation on Open Table - the online reservation system should open options to outdoor versus indoor seating. I had made reservations and we still had some issues getting seating but ultimately we were able to get a nice spot outside. Service was friendly but not frequent enough - had to remind several times for missing food items. Aside from all that, from a vegetarian's point of views there are minimal options (which is a bummer because mexican cuisine usually is great for vegetarians). Anyways food wise, the veggie tacos were ok. The plaintains were cooked well and yummy. The veggie nachos were really sad - barely any beans, no pico, had to ask for salsa and honestly too expensive for a slapped together item. Drinks were strong and yummy. Overall an Ok experience, the views and vibes really made up for what was lacking. Hoping they add some veggie items but otherwise a fine scenic spot.

The view was amazing, the service was good. Drinks were horrible and even returned 2 and the replacements were just as bad. Food was bland and nothing special. Better food/drinks around the corner at our local Mexican restaurant. Won't be returning.
Beware, their $17.99 small octopus plate is super small with only two tiny octopus tentacles.

Unfriendly host . Blond waitress was extremely rude to her co-worker, very pleasant, friendly server with dark hair and made her feel uncomfortable in front of me (customer). In my opinion, she (blond server) needs to be reprimanded.

Went there recently and there is a disgusting amount of flies. Was impossible to eat our food and enjoy anything with the amount of flies flying around us. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like.
