Great dinner and wonderful service. Tried the mixed fajitas and the snapper vera cruz and both were very tasty. The guava and cheese empanadas for dessert were delicious as well. Definitely coming back here to try some of the other interesting entree options.

Arrived for our 7:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night, we were seated in the back by the bar, to my surprise it was almost empty. The waiter came after about 8 min of being seated, he did not greet us, we thought that was odd, this was the only time we saw him, a barmaid came to our table once and asked if we needed anything, besides that we never saw our waiter again, food and drinks were good, we drove 30min to come here, it wasn't what we expected.

Very upset that I made a reservation and they sent an email asking for me to confirm as well. After driving 40 minutes to get to the restaurant we were greeted at the door by a manager saying that they were closed for a private party. Unfortunately if we cannot trust the reservation we will not be able to go there again. It was supposed to be my birthday dinner with family and sadly it was ruined. We are not from the area and had difficulty finding somewhere else last minute. Their management does not care enough to check their reservations.
Excellent place to have a good time, eat delicious food, dance. The service is not the best, they must improve on it, because the tip is earned as a good service offered and not as an obligation of the client.

The food was amazing & the price was right. The only disappointment was we were presented with guacamole & chips. We thought that was the equivalent of bread & butter at other restaurants. Then the bill came & we were charged $12.95. I'm very disappointed we were charged for something we did not order.

Visited Matiz Shore House for the first time and was really impressed. The service was spectacular, the menu had so many options that sounded delicious, it was really hard to choose. Everything including the cocktails were prepared perfectly. We were a group of 6 and every entree and cocktail ordered exceeded our expectations which added to a perfect New Year's eve family dinner. Great ambiance! We will definitely return.

From the aesthetics to the amazing bartenders. Matiz is a hit at the jersey shore, but my favorite is when they have these party brunches. They have DJs, performances, and it’s so much fun! Everyone loves brunch ??
