Dry beef and dry rice and I could’ve got those fries out the freezer in my house. Also that fish charged me 15% for a tip without telling me and that food sent me straight to the toilet at work. My co-workers won’t even step in the bathroom!

An odd little place, but good for lunch. We were there mid-afternoon and the place was empty. Our server (one of the owners) was very friendly and attentive. At her suggestions we ordered the piri piri mixed grill to share between the two of us. Although it comes with rice and french fries, we opted for the fries + a salad for a $1.75 upcharge. It also comes with garlic bread and olives. The garlic bread was tasty. The french fries were spot-on: arrived hot from the fryer and were nice and crisp. The salad was also very good, especially considering February in NJ. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy and I didn't see any brown or wilted leavesl. The tomatoes were the sad pale imitation of real tomatoes - I'd use cherry tomatoes or leave them out if I were making a salad this time of year. The only dressing offered was oil and vinegar, which was fine with us. There was plenty of meat on the platter, a good varity of chicken, pork and beef, and it was well-seasoned. However, it was a bit dry and tough (except for the chicken, which was good). I felt that a sauce of some sort on the meat would have improved it a lot. We like Portuguese/Brazilian food a lot. I think we'll likely go back and try something else.

The chicken + rice & Portuguese fries (basically home style potatoe chips are amazinggg especially for the price. I also had the steak sandwich it was really good too .. this spot is really good & the prices are good as
First time impression is lackluster. The biggest issue I see is customer service. I admit, I came in with a group of 9 for dinner, but we ended up sitting here 2 hours. The place was empty besides one other who was talking loudly on the phone. Waitress was nice but service felt slow. Once we came in we got to order our drinks and appetizers but it took 30 minutes after coming in for our waitress to take our actual orders. Another 30 minutes pass and we get SOME of our food in. They give us the wrong food then take it back, and once everyone got food 2 peoples orders were made wrong. One person got their food made quickly, but the other person waited for their food for an additional 30 minutes after we all got ours. The food was okay, nothing special. There were two women operating the front (slowly and a lot of standing around) but with the speed of service I got the impression there was maybe one person in the kitchen. I'd say this restaurant is eligible to be on the show "Kitchen Nightmares" because I get the impression there is a problem with how it is being ran. Also, tip was included on the bill, do not double tip!

The burgers were almost all wrong, the patties were tiny and under seasoned and it took 30 minutes for the kitchen to refire a burger.Go literally anywhere else.Also the bathrooms are a health code hazard. They ask you to throw out used toilet paper instead of flushing it

Absolutely terrible. Messed up 8/9 of our groups order. Because of an error we waited an additional 35 mins for a small overcooked burger. Special instructions not followed for anyone.Edit- with included gratuity and card fees the total was around 23/ person

I had take out and really didn't like what I had. I ordered there Piri Piri mixed grill. I found it to be bland and dry. I've never seen smaller ribs and dry sausage. I don't expect to try this place again.

What a great dinner! The waitress was fantastic and patient and explained to me what so many of the dishes were. She recommended the Picanha, which I had never had before and it was amazing! I'm used to a Brazilian Churasco in CT and this was soooooo much better! My daughter had a burger which was huge and perfectly cooked. My son had the Cuban sandwich and that was great as well. The Picanha was delicious and I highly recommend this steak. The garlic bread and olives which came out before all the food were delicious as well. We even ordered a second plate of the garlic bread because the first, which by the way was free, was just way too good! I wish I had left room for dessert because all looked delicious! Next time...
Me & my husband have been eating here for the past 5 yrs after a day well spentt at Long Branch beach and always received the best food & service! Fast service, clean restaurant-including the bathrooms and yummie food. Give it a try!!
