This was my 1st time trying out this spot as another location I usually frequent closed down. I was so disappointed. The red snapper tasted like it had been cooked previously and they just added the brown sauce to smother it in. I also purchased curry chicken but the guy mistakenly gave us curry goat - very gamy and oxtails. Unfortunately the rice tasted like it was old as well. There was no love in any of this food. Not work the 100 bucks we dropped.

This place is a little hole in the wall Jamaican restaurant. It's not fancy and caters to a working clientele at least at lunchtime. They have awesome chicken patties, nice and spicy. I had a large chicken curry. It was a large portion and came with rice w/beans, steamed cabbage w/green peas and 3 pieces of sweet plantains. The chicken wasn't boneless though and it could have used a bit more salt and heat. I doctored it up at home and it was pretty good. They are really fast with the stews and curries. The woman who prepped my food order was extremely nice too. A great place for something different in Long Branch. I'll be back for more chicken patties, definitely.

My daughter ordered food for delivery. Driver said that he called several times and no answer....instead of ringing the bell and leaving the food....he left....with the good. My daughter called him back seconds later and he told her to come get a refund tomorrow. She offered to come get the food since we live less then 6 mins away and he said no because the store was now closed. Mind you this all took place at about 20 mins to 10 and their website states that they close at 10 He totally took advantage of my daughter because there wasn't much she could do at the time. So now she's out 20 something dollars, still hungry and has to spend more money on something else to eat. They never got my business before and I certainly won't go there now
