The ocean place is horrible when we were checking in the employee coughed all over my grandpa and gave him Covid 19 and I requested room service they charged us a fortune and we only ordered one thing. The quality of it was horrible because the office chair and the shower curtain had blood on it and plus the chair was ripped.

it's ok. the pool closes too early and the dinners hosted are below par. service sucks it takes an hour and a half to get a salad as a starter. gordon Ramsey would be heavily disappointed. shrimp was very spicy and that wasn't represented in the menu. for the food to take so long to come out and still be so below average and cause upset stomach means it is catering, not cooking. some "world class chef" some staff damn right dope as fuck shoutout to dreads serving tables My G he was a lil dope

Poor service , non responsive , rooms problematic either fumes and water issues . Motel 6 would've been better

Even though Santa was very sweet to the kids, for the money paid a more older and better looking Santa would have been appropriate . Tip Shoukd not have been included since it was a buffet. We should have been given the choice how much tip. It was. A buffet !!

I was not overly impressed with the rooms for the price of the hotel. Downstairs is very nice, but even in the gym the floors were warped, and there is no entrance into the pool, even though it said it was open so I know is the room was not lavish at all, like you would expect for the price, the bedding I had better bedding in a Holiday Inn so would I recommend this place. NO if you want to spend money then stay here . I was here for a Conference so I won't stay there again

Went there for the thanksgiving buffet which I have had before and loved it! This time was not the same, the food was good but no chocolate fountain which I was actually looking forward to. Now for the mess, they had a live singer that was to loud and made it hard to enjoy dinner, he let some drunk guy sing like it was karaoke night, there was absolutely no holiday music at all which was the point of the dinner!? The staff had a hard time keeping up with the crowd. Took forever to finally get the check so we were forced to listen to overbearing wedding music! Unfortunately I do not recommend Ocean place Thanksgiving buffet.

This was our third time there for Thanksgiving. This year the service was the worst! Nobody cleaned the dirty plates or brought dinks. When we did manage to flag someone down to ask for something it took forever to get it. The food was decent though.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was easy to navigate the buffet and it wasn't too crowded. However the service was the worst I have ever experienced. The wait staff was non existent. We were constantly trying to wave down someone to help us. The dirty dishes were piled up on our table and no one cleared them . We waited 20 minutes for a drink. No one took order for coffee. When we finally did flag someone down, they didn't speak English! Was served cream for the coffee in a mug! Which of course spilled all over while trying to pour into coffee. There is not enough space to go on about the horrible service. The music was lovely for a bar but not for thanksgiving dinner. We could not hear each other speak at the table. Relatives that drove hours to see us could not even have a conversation with us. Very aggravating and embarrassing. Light Piano music would have been more appropriate.

Food quality was excellent, Excellent variety at Thanksgiving buffet. Table by the window. Well done. One critique...live music was too loud. Its for background at a restaurant not a club.

I've just returned home from a 3-night stay at OPRS with my wife. We attended a wedding at the Wave, and we spent the 3 days with friends and family from all over the world. I want to voice my displeasure with Ocean Place and the service at the resort during our stay. I tried to resolve some of this with the front desk clerk while I was on site, but he seemed unwilling and incapable of making decisions. I called and wrote the facility to give them a chance to respond before expressing my review with the booking agent and consumer portals. My first complaint was registered 5 days ago. I have not heard a peep. Regardless, here are the concerns:Facility:* One side of the entrance doors was inoperable.* The on-site restaurant seems to only be open for brunch on the weekends. There was no other option on-site.* The elevators were filthy, including trash and spilled beverage on the floors that remained there for at least several hours.* The room key system seems flawed, as on 3 separate occasions I was denied access to my room and had to go back to the desk and get my keys re-coded.* The room itself was very underwhelming: * Corners and baseboards with chipped and peeling paint * Electrical outlets were scarce and the ones that were there could hardly withstand the weight of a computer charger. * No alarm clock or radio in the room * Bathroom toilet needed repair. We frequently would hear it running and had to open the tank to adjust the float and plug. * shower doors are ridiculous. The seal was inadequate, and the door opening was in the middle of the glass, making it near impossible for the shower occupant to avoid elbowing the door open. Result--sopping wet bathroom floor. * No hand soap or other expected sundry items you would expect in a resort hotel. One washrag, one had towel. * Shower soap and shampoo was dispensed in those ridiculous squeeze bottles. * Refrigerator was so cold that it actually froze my medicine and beverages.Service:* No valet parking* No bellman or anyone to assist with luggage* Housekeeping service - It was never explained to us that there is no daily cleaning service. However, since I know from my business travel that some hotels only do so on request, I made sure that each day I called the desk and requested service. On Saturday after returning to the room exhausted after being out for 10 hours, we entered a room that wasn't touched. I called the desk and an hour later 2 housekeepers came with towels, emptied our trash and made the bed. Repeat performance on Sunday. I called with request; I was told no problem. Returned at 9 pm, no service. This time I called the desk, no answer. I went down the front desk (had to go anyway as my key didn't work. Desk clerk looked befuddled when I asked for service, and I was told it was too late for service in the room but offered towels. I fully understand the challenges that places of service are facing with rising costs and labor shortages. But this experience reflected more than that. Management is not paying attention to the customer experience, and that is a sin in the hospitality industry. I could have easily stayed at a nearby chain hotel and received a better experience. I do not normally write critiques; usually my efforts are for great service. However, there is no way I could ignore this.

We just had the most amazing visit to the spa here. Glenn was my therapist and he was extremely knowledgeable and of course completely professional and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had and I have massages weekly weather. I am at home or travel. I cannot thank you enough, Glenn, for your good work today. Make the trip here just to see him!

Recently attended a private birthday party for approx 40 people. It was held in a section of the main dining room.Food was just OK, and the service was well below what a resort like this should have. ( Not one server including the bartenders seemed to have resort experience IF any experience at all)Even if I walked in off the street I noticed they did not had a very good selection of spirits, beers or wines. The resort itself is very large with a wonderful lobby bar area. We did not see the hotel rooms. The outside tiki bar was packed & lively. They also had a DJ although he seemed a bit too loud if you wanted to talk at the bar. This resort has a private section of beach for it's guests and many, many amenities. Again, we were just there for a 4-5 hour party. They need a lot of improvement in this department.
