Been going here for over 30 years. It's been amazing the whole time. Food is the epitome of Italian by the shore. The owners are selling at the end of the year (2022) so get in while you can, or go support the new owners in the new year!

Very nice authentic Italian restaurant. Cozy, with a large bar. Extremely friendly staff. A little bit pricey, but the food is delicious. At these prices, go for the food but don't expect a similar ambiance...

Booked my mother's birthday party here and I can't say enough about this place. The service was excellent and the food was not only amazingly delicious but the portions were HUGE!!! And seeing as our party was at 2 and they dont open til 4, we had the whole place to ourselves. Everyone in my party just raved about the food. Would definitely book another party with them.

The bill for five people, including tip, $380. A carafe of house wine was $38, 4 shrimp cocktail was almost $20. But the worst meal of the evening was by far the shrimp Parmesan. Very small shrimp in a casserole dish sprinkled with breadcrumbs and a lot of sauce and cheese. This dish was $30. At the end of the night two people ordered the cake roll. This was a very thin slice of chocolate cake wrapped around vanilla ice cream - $9.95 EACH! I don’t know what happened to this restaurant as I have not been there in a few years, but the last time we visited it was really good. Sad to see how far downhill they have gone and we will never visit this establishment again

I don’t know what happened to this once good establishment!Prices are beyond ASTRONOMICAL for what you get- $25 for 6 tiny 'mediocre ravioli that were literally awful! Frozen ravioli from the supermarket tastes better than these. The chicken parm was extremely chewy & stringy, too! Our server never told us her name or that there was an upcharge for a ceasar salad as well as for vodka sauce and NO, it is not printed on the menu as told when I called back. Wherever I go, I am always warned about any hidden fees or upcharges *before* ordering, nope, not this establishment. When I called back what claimed to be the "manager," he was rude, condescending & dismissive. I was actually floored and no, he certainly wasn't kind or apologetic in the least which is shocking, not how you run arestaurant news flash. I don't know what in the world happened to Tuzzio's but we certainly won't be back or recommend it at all anymore. I'm starting to think the servers are purposely told not to warn their customers of any sneaky upcharges. Do yourself a favor, save your money and go anywhere else but here! If the “manager” had not been so rude or dismissive to me, I would have thought twice about posting this review. If you want a beautiful view of the ocean, stellar service & food, go to Mister C’s in Allenhurst just a short drive away!

Very disappointed with their quality of their food. The sauce was just so watery ,bread was stale. Will not visit again.

I was hesitant to leave a negative review but after that extremely condescending interaction with someone who told me he was a manager, this needed to be posted. Never once did he say I'm sorry, he could care less he was losing customers. On thst note, save your money and treat yourself to a restaurant with a view that actually has good food AND good people!!!!!!

We were on a family vacay along the Jersey Shore. We are huge Bruce Springsteen fans and naturally, visited many local haunts that were favorites of his. And like many Springsteen fans we've heard that Bruce can sometimes pop up by surprise around town. But tonight, we met another famous Bruce from the Garden State - The bartender at Tuzzio's in Long Branch, who kindly chatted with us.Tuzzio's serves huge portions of delicious Italian classics. Grandma's Meatballs made with raisins and Pinolis were the highlight of the meal. Tuzzio's is cozy and not far from the boardwalk area and Ocean Ave.This is a great place for a home cooked meal with all the Italian fixen's.

Lovely place, friendly people. Meatballs were great in a lovely sauce. I wish they had used the same depth of flavour in their other dishes. We had lasagne and chef special clam and tomato pasta.

Mixed feeking on this. I like the venue the service and the staff are all very good. I enjoyed the beer and the portions are large. I just found the food a bit bland. The pasta I had tasted like somthing I would do at home using tinned ingredients.

The meal I had, Shrimp Parmesan was outstanding and super delicious, and super expensive. Enough for 3 meals for myself! My husband had Linguini with White Clam Sauce (also over priced), which tasted very good, but had very little clams in it that we saw, and barely a hint of sauce, it was dry. Mostly just olive oil. My dad had lasagna, which although tasted very good, was a pile of slop on the dinner plate. So its a badly mixed review. Flavor was really good for 3 overpriced dinners including one incomplete meal. Probably will never go back. We went there after being given a gift certificate, so we figured, why not? I was disappointed overall. Wish we were given some credit back on the bill after complaining. Dessert was not even included, and only offered about 3 or 4 items. There was nothing fancy about the decor, just old dark wood and dull lighting. And our server was just okay, nothing to write home about. Would not recommend to family or friends. Not worthy of going back, the experience was sad, and the place could use an overhaul, including the menues. What a shame.

Great pasta dishes! The pasta with vodka sauce was good; the sauce was a bit too watery but the flavors were nice. The fettuccine alfredo was good, but had a weird aftertaste. I think the aftertaste comes from them using quality ingredients and not cheap ones, but it still tasted a bit strange. The only thing keeping this review from 5 stars was the service. To be honest, the service sucked. We had to ask for our water to be refilled each time and it took forever for us to get our check. It was also very expensive—about $24 per pasta dish. For just pasta, this is a little much...TLDR: Food was great, service was below average!

The food is always so good. It's pricey but we usually have enough leftovers to feed our family for 2-3 more meals. They accidentally overcharged us one time and called us an hour later to put the overcharge back on the credit card. Like stepping back in time, we love Tuzzios!
