It's time for an update since my last review was 23 years ago! I had a hankering for a patty melt and ordered it through GrubHub. The patty melt comes with fries, but the menu says: Complete your meal Here are some popular add-ons: French Fries +$5.49 Popular add-on Onion Rings +$6.99 Sweet Potato Fries +$5.99 I chose the onion rings, assuming they would be replaced with fries, but they gave me both. I didn't appreciate the fries being thrown atop the open-faced sandwich. I peeled the fries off the cheese and gave them to my husband. The patty melt was great! Was it greasy? YES, but in the most delicious way!! I ordered it medium rare, and it came out perfectly. There was plenty of sauteed onions and cheese. The onion rings were excellent, although I reheated them in the oven for five minutes. The fries were good, too, but needed to be reheated.

Was expecting more since google suggested this as a top brunch spot nearby. Food was very bland and mediocre. Staff was friendly. Iced coffee was regular coffee poured over ice so was watered down coffee. The aesthetics outside is a zen garden, inside is a pretty conservative vibe going on.

This place is alright. Been going here for years, and it seems to have gone down hill a bit. Large menu, pretty popular. Still a solid diner, but the food prep quality and the service in general has definitely been slipping in recent years. Their wheat toast is still good.

Food was good but the cashier was extremely rude to me! Completely ruined my experience and made a scene in front of the entire restaurant. Stirling was my favorite diner, but this is NOT acceptable!
