I ordered a pull a part cupcake cake, number 9, Fortnite themed for my son's birthday. The entire experience was so easy from start to finish. From the convenient user-friendly website ordering system, payment system, and seamless correspondence with Polkadot Cake Shop, I knew I was working with a true pro. I sent a picture of what I envisioned and got exactly that and even better. I've never had any service where I have provided a picture and gotten the EXACT results! Just blown away. The ingredients of the cupcakes were top notch as well, tasted so good, my guests were commenting how it was the best cupcake frosting they have ever tasted. And the 'icing on the cake' was that we received a premium custom-made cake at a reasonable price! I will definitely be using Polkadot Cake Shop for future events, thanks for making my son's birthday a memorable one!

Take their cake decorating classes! I've seen these on their Instagram for a couple months now and decided to go for it and take one of their classes. You can tell that people like them because at least half the class was return decorators. Christina was spectacular. She made the class super enjoyable, and even changed up the design during the class to make it better and there was group consensus on that. She let everybody expressed their creativity which made the class super super fun and allowed us all to show our creative differences. Pretty much anything that you wanted to do she was supportive of. I also loved hearing the stories from those who have taken the class monthly. Everyone who took it was super friendly and willing to help as well. I've also never used fondant or decorated a cake before and I got a lot of high compliments so the guidance was tremendous. The one thing I wish it was different was that the instructor introduced herself at the beginning. I think she was just so used to having the same people attending. There we're also a couple of snacks provided by the bakery, which were delicious. Now for the cake itself, i've never used fondant before or really made anything other than a box cake so I was surprised to hear that you had to actually leave the cake out for it to essentially warm up to be able to cut it easier or it would crumble. I took it out probably about two hours before we ate it and it did crumble which I blame myself for but I had another piece an hour or two later and it was delicious. They fill the cake with buttercream I definitely don't skimp. I've also heard good stories about their cannoli cake which I'm hoping to get into a class that has that flavor. I may just turn into one of the repeat customers too! They also do private classes, but for my conversations, you have to book a few weeks in advance to secure your date. I had initially looked into them while I was looking for birthday activities, but wanted to do a royal icing cookie class which I thought they didn't offer. I asked about it during class and they said they may be able to do those as well and just contact the bakery. After showing a friend and sharing how much I loved the class, she's looking into, potentially having her birthday here as well!

Arlene made my cake for my son's first birthday. She was so easy to work with and did an awesome job bringing my vision to life. Everyone kept commenting on how awesome the cake looked and where I got it from. Not only that it tasted even better than it looked !! Would recommend her and will definitely use her again.

I recently ordered a cake for my son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner and it came out beautiful!!! The cake was exactly what I wanted for the design and it was delicious! The staff was pleasant and so accommodating, reaching out to me to ensure I was happy! I would post a picture but in the hustle and bustle of the day I forgot to charge my phone and it died before the cake came out. I will definitely use this bakery in the future!!!

All of my guests were raving about how beautiful the cake was and also how delicious it was! It was a marvel! I also want to thank the owner, Arlene, as she was so incredibly helpful throughout the process! We went in for a cake tasting and her shop was so adorable and very welcoming! Once we settled on the flavors she drew up a design for us and we just told her to run with whatever she thought would fit the theme of the wedding best, and she produced such a beautiful cake! We even changed our wedding from a venue to our home and she suggested the dessert truck for our wedding. The dessert truck was the hit of the night! My guests were raving about it and I saw several people go back up for seconds and THIRDS!! The dessert truck was so cute and everyone absolutely loved it! I showed her pictures of what I wanted for my cake and she made the cake exactly like the pictures I showed her. The cake and the desserts tasted great and fresh. Planning a party is stressful but I did not have to stress when it came to the desserts and my cake because I knew I was in good hands.
