Seriously! Harold's, way to care about your customers! Just tried to get Father's Day lunch here and they are completely closed! Nothing on their website, no update on their phone. Not even a sign at the beginning of the driveway. Us and 4 other cars had to move a pylon to pull up to read this sign....

Love the pastrami sandwiches here. As close as you'll get to katz deli this side of the hudson. "The world's largest pickle bar", it is definitely not lol. Interior can use a renovation, but as long as it is a quick meal, this place is fine.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday around 1. When we first arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. It wasn't until we were leaving that it started to get busier. The restaurant has a huge menu. All the deli classics you can imagine, as well as breakfast food. They are known for their huge sandwiches, piled high with savory roasted meats. They also have an all you can eat pickle bar. I am not a huge pickle fan, but it was still fun to try out the various options. They had classic salty pickles, both sliced and whole, as well as other pickled vegetables. The pickled tomato was nice and tangy, but my favorite was the pickled pepper. It had a spicy kick that paired well with the rest of our food but also tasted great by itself. To eat, I got a grilled cheese sandwich with cheddar and provolone. It was awesome but the portion size was a tad smaller than I would have expected. Still, it had just the right amount of melty cheese. The bread was buttery and slightly charred. Great texture overall. My friends had a large pastrami sandwich and small roast brisket. They said both were amazing. The sandwiches were large, but it was the perfect amount of food for three people. They come with a lot of meat but the restaurant offers extra pieces of bread so you can separate the meat into more manageable sized sandwiches, if desired. We also shared onion rings which were very crispy and tasty. I've heard the Edison, NJ location is often packed so this is a great option for a classic New York deli meal without the crowds.

Katz is way better :/. My sandwich was really cold and the service is average at best.

My 2 meat Sandwich & Salad was tasty and fresh. I had family with me they were a little disappointed because this Harold's didn't have a selection of fish like Salmon... etc. Just had breaded flounder. Good portion size. Only giving 3⭐ for this Harold's.

Went to get a hot pastrami sandwich because a friend recommended it. Ordered the small sandwich (which is enough food for 2 if you're not a big eater), an onion ring, and a soft drink. Hot pastrami was really good, but was it $22 good? I would say not really. The onion ring was the shocker: $20. I thought it was $6 (see menu under the hot dog section) and was told no, it's $20 as a standalone. Soft drink isn't refillable. Let's do the math: sandwich, onion ring, and a drink came out to almost $50 for one person. Again the hot pastrami sandwich was really good, but I now know the source of the rise in CPI, it's Harold's.

Not sure what happened to this place but yesterdays visit was a complete swing and a miss. This place is not even worth one star. From the moment I walked in….. service was horrible. This time I never even ordered. I walked out and will never go back. I used to stop here just for this restaurant but never again. If todays visit is indicative of what they call “service”….. I doubt this place will survive. Complete waste of 20 minutes for nothing. Pickle bar sucked too.

The most authentic jewish deli outside of Brooklyn New York. The pastrami , corned beef and potato knishes remind you of Katz’s Deli , Carnegie Deli and Sarge’s Deli.

Went to Harrolds Deli on St Patrick 's Day. Cornbeef ,Cabbage Special. The Cornbeef and Cabbage was very dry, not even hot. I was very disappointed. I thought it would be Hot and Fresh especially on St. Patrick's Day.This place went downhill. Don't waste your money here.

The Pastrami is awesome

Very depressing - A restaurant that doesn't care enough to replace burnt out lightbulbs (entire sections in the dark) and doesn't give the slightest attention to any of the food on the menu. $20 for a gigantic portion of the most pathetic cheesecake I have ever seen, rock solid crust on the outside and completely raw batter on the inside. We were one of only two tables in the dining room at 7pm on a Saturday night. I would go elsewhere at any cost, this place does not care about what they serve you.
