Came here on a Sunday with my family. The wait was supposed to be 30-40 minutes. We actually got seated within 10 minutes! Our waiter was amazing. Food came out quick and hot.

Food is very yummy, however the website says takeout is okay before 6pm but called a few times to place a takeout order before 6pm and they wouldn’t take the order because kitchen is too busy with in house orders. A bit frustrating.

First time there - great local vibe. Reminded me alot of 5 Horses Taven on Columbus Ave., in Boston. Not fussy, comfortable, casual, good food. Hits the right note for an early dinner.

Had the neat salad and asked for a vinegrette dressing. Waited... got the house cream. Asked again, waited... got pure balsamic vinegar. Asked again, waited... this time I got up and asked someone else if they even had such a thing, they said yes, waited. By this time my friend was 1/2 way done with her meal.Ordered the pb chocolate sunday and got 4" of whip cream, literally a 1/2 spoon of ice cream and about a bite size piece of brownies buried under all the whip cream.Nothing taken off the bill.Never again!

We walked in 10 mins before opening, it was cold out and they told us we couldn’t come in. We had to come back in 10 mins. Thanks for the hospitality. We walked around the corner to 54 main and they let us in and sat at the bar till opening. The barender looked busy cause she was on her phone and couldn’t pour anything… we spent $150 on lunch at 54 main, guess our money is no good for bottle hill tavern.

Only critique is spotty take out. Meaning, sometimes they deny take out because they can't keep up in the kitchen with In house dining. Food is very good tasting and fairly priced. Happy hour is the best deal around.

Go here for a beer. Came here for a work dinner event and while they make everything "homemade" I was still hungry when I left and somewhat disappointed. Ordered the chicken cheesesteak wrap and it was basic... just chicken...the cheese was barely melted and it could have used some extra peppers as you could barely taste them. The pickles were delish. They had an extensive beer menu.

Poor Herbies got no upgrade! Poor Herbies was way better than Bottle Hill. Too bad for the change.

Currently writing this review from the bathroom as the food here has made me ill.Let's get this out of the way, the ONLY reason I gave this place 2 stars is our server, AnneMarie was a delight. She was personable and all around great...that's where everything good ends...**UPDATE: Gave it 1 star now because of the vomiting caused by eating here. The service: Walked in and tried to ask for a table for 2 and the 1 hostess cold shouldered us and walked away while the other 2 looked like we inconvenienced them by showing up.The food: My stomach (and toilet) could probably tell you all about this but here are the highlights (and while yes, I get it's "Tavern/Pub Food", this place is a health code nightmare. The wings came out in less than 1 min (never a good sign) and were overdone and obviously cooked in dirty oil. The "Alabama White", as they call it, is basically just dipping your terrible wings elbow deep into Herman's mayo. The chicken sandwich was disgusting, the "remoulade" was just a somehow more disgusting version of Thousand Island and the Mac and cheese tasted like cardboard and everything lacked any semblance of seasoning. Overall, this was one of the least enjoyable dining experiences I've had in awhile and I'm sure as Hell not coming back.
