“Being a meat cutter by trade in the Air Force, having a hard time cutting a $45 med/rare filet is hard to swallow. The fact it was served already cut, apparently was the first clue to be prepared, this may take a minute. Flavor was better, but still needed to ask for s&p. Whipped potatoes amazing! French Onion soup as well. Rib appetizer out of this world! Don't buy the chicken nuggets although the presentation basket was a nostalgic touch. Macncheese side was incredible! Recommend the Wood-double Bourbon.“
“We always have a great dining experience at Sycamore Grill. It's a small restaurant and sitting is limited during the winter, but they do offer outdoor seating during the rest of the year. Food is delicious. They do seem to change their menu around some times. Loved the Reubens they had, but they are no longer on the menu. Fortunately their French Onion Soup is still on it! I get it every time I go! I really enjoyed the Nachos and the Tuna Tower. The burgers are fantastic too! Our waitress our last visit was so attentive and nice.“
“My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Will was excellent. He met all of our needs. The food was excellent. We started with salads. My husband had the crispy shrimp appetizer and I had the filet mignon kebab, for our meals I had the shrimp fettuccine and my husband had the NY strip steak, we finished with the glazed pineapple. We will definitely return.“
“Nice place. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It is not as “fancy” as many of the reviews make it appear. We made a stop by here with the whole fam. Although there is no kids menu it was casual enough for them and there were plenty of options for them.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but plenty of options for them.“
“Went there for repast after a viewing at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home up Adelphia Road. About 30 people attended. Buffet ìncluded mixed salad with dressing on the side, pasta salad, hot crisp rolls and butter, seasoned mixed hot vegetables, roasted potatoes, penne with vodka sauce, chicken francaise, sliced roast pork, dessert, and coffee. Other banquet selections are offered on their website.Used plates were cleared promptly and pitchers of water at the tables were refilled as needed. The meal was held in a private room. There is also the restaurant which has musical entertainment and a banquet hall. Plenty of parking.“
“Originally a blacksmith shop and inn before turning into a tavern with the repeal of Prohibition in 1933. I may have been thrown out of here, several times. This bar is proudly #14 on NJ.com's Best Dive Bars list. I really like this place, wish it was closer to home. We used to find it by the giant satellite dish they had outside. I once tried to kiss a girl who worked here. She was so horrified she ran into the street. "Nooo..." Good times. Recently renovated before Covid. Bar top is lacquered plywood with a knotty pine fascia and walls. No foot rail but the floor is burnished (scorched) plywood. Stools are metal frame backed with cushion seats. Open 11AM to 2AM. Package goods available. Allegedly, there's a prison style two seater bathroom, sans privacy screen. More local history at keenbug.blogspot.comEvidence of billiards and electronic darts. Unused fireplace and hearth. They should should throw the Mp3 juke in the fire. Outside pen for smokers & dining al fresco. I'm told they have better food. I've seen the new menu and it looks like standard bar fare with a few salads thrown in to confuse you. Still, I miss it so...keenbug.blogspot.com/202…“
“Had dinner and drinks with friends! The food was the usual bar food menu and it was delicious. Service was friendly , attentive and great. The place also has a good vibe going on. My only complaint was the bar noise can get a little overwhelming! Otherwise a great place to visit!“
“Had a great meal at the Brass Rail. Very homey feel inside. Live music was being played on a Friday night. The wings and the pretzel were a great appetizer. The i pop pretzel was tremendous! A little pricey but that seems like the standard n ok w going out to eat but you won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a good meal.“
“We enjoyed our Valentine's Day lunch at Tommy's. Inn.recently opened at his new location. I had a chicken quesadilla and a side salad of mixed greens and my sweetie had a bacon burger a fries. Very good and reasonably priced. Thanks Tommy!! We'll be back.“
“Excelent neighborhood bar! Most bars in the area have mediocre or bad food. This place is different. They care about what they serve. Wings and bar pies are outstanding and home made specials. Bar tenders are fast and attentive and atmosphere is friendly. 5 stars for a fantastic spot!“
“This was surely an unknown treasure . I really thought it was a regular bottle shop , but boooooom, there was a decent sized bar inside .: and what’s even better is they have taps with Stella and few other beers . Amazing place …Service was so good. The waitress had all smiles on her and served patiently . Loved Stella draft .. they have some TVs to watch and drink. Price was awesome too. Just about 4.50 for a Stella . Regular bars charge 6-8 $ . Everything amazing but why still a 4 ⭐️ ? I didn’t see any food menu. Not sure if they serve food. I know it’s not a full fledged bar/restaurant but some food will help.Overall an amazing experience…“
“During summer time..Sit out is pretty good. Friday evening, chilled beer and snacks time ?.. The service was pretty goodIt's pretty good inside as well as c we had fun this afternoon sitting inside.Vegetarian options: Would like to see more vegetarian options. Nachos that were served had meat.“
“We tried this place yesterday for the first time. We went to find out what Music Bingo (every Thursday) was all about. Although we caught the end, we had a good time. We had a few apps that were huge and a good drink. The vibe was fun and lively. All the staff were friendly, as well as the customers we interacted with. it was a lot nicer than I anticipated and the back area looks like it will be amazing when it gets warmer. I'm definitely going back.“
