I really really want to give 5 starts but the lack of flavor in certain dishes made me give 4. The Rock Shrimp appetizer is one of the best dishes I've ever had. EVER. The sauce, the crisp fry on the shrimp- I've had it twice and find myself thinking about it often! My husband ordered the whole red snapper fried- he loved it. The sauce it was in was also YUM. However, my last visit I had the salmon, and it was just ok and then this visit I had the sesame chicken and we ordered vegetable friend rice- and again, just ok. It's kind of weird bc I feel like these items has NO flavor. They were cooked wonderfully, but tasted as if I could make it at home. If I visit again I will order the rock shrimp as my appetizer and then again for my meal lol its THAT good! Service was exceptional both visits- from the host desk to the servers to the bus Boys.

I have been waiting to try this place for a long time, I recently saw typsy critics review ranking Peking pavilion as best in NJ, I drove 25 minutes to pick up a variety of dishes and was just underwhelmed. I wanted to love it, the food was very bland imo, the chicken pieces in their version of general taos were massive, their fried rice had little flavor, overall the flavor just wasn’t there. Disappointed given the hype and price being what it is. Paid $120 for takeout for 2 people

The food is good , the service just okThe problem are the chairs and tables, the chairs are uncomfortable and on the small side for adults more appropriate for kids, the tables have a big base so you cant sit in a normal position with your feet on the floor.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years. I’m sorry to even write this. Something has changed and not for the better. The Rock shrimp, once one of their best appetizers, has now been replaced with Walmart shrimp. Small and mostly batter. The Shrimp Imperial dish came out with No sauce. Completely dry. We asked for the Sauce and got it and it was much better. This was the first bad meal I had in 20 years. I will come again and hope and pray it’s better. I always loved this place.

It's bad chinese takeout food at a higher price. Service is good though. Just don't go there expecting good food.

Really enjoyed having lunch there today with my daughter. The Peking duck was delicious. Our server was so wonderful and attentive. It was a pleasant experience that is no longer common in the restaurant industry. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the great service probably more than the food and the food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.
