This is a review for dinner at Buoy's. TLDR: It's BYOB. Food and people are fantastic. I know they're just getting started, but they still need to work on some of the details about being a restaurant.Their breakfast/lunch menu is great and this was always a natural next step for them. Glad they were able to pull it off in the space they have. The menu is set week to week and is pre fixe and "family style". We had calamari with mole, smoke white wish spread with garlic bread, bucatini al limone, an option of either lamb or fish, and salted caramel gelato for dessert. All were really good with the lamb being the standout. And the two people service us were incredibly nice and helpful and friendly. It's a really great group of people doing great things and hope to eat there again soon. That said, while we should have assumed it, and unless I missed it, it wasn't clear that the menu was family style, and the price wasn't listed (~$90/person FYI). Given that, there were no other options for anyone with allergies or food sensitivities. And that's all good, I just wish it was communicated ahead of time. I did put it in the Resy form when making the reservation, but should have called to confirm as well. If you have allergies or sensitivities, I suggest you get as much info as possible ahead of time.

Wow!! Drove here to try something I saw online but they were still doing breakfast, so I ordered The Rooster instead.It was probably the best breakfast chicken anything I've ever eaten!! Interesting concept and absolutely delicious. Now I don't know which meal to come back for next.

The casual sidewalk atmosphere does not prepare you for the tasty, creative fare on Buoy’s menu! Each meal so delish and satisfying you are ready to plan your next visit and bring friends. The staff is friendly and professional in every way. The chef’s talent for creating light flavorful sauces and perfectly battered or sautéed main fillings is superb.

Great local spot to have a unique dinning experience. There is one seating per night and all tables are coursed at the same time. It's a pre-fixed menu which changes every week and you don't know the food ahead of time. You just state your food allergies on your reservation booking. All courses were delicious and cooked perfectly. Every dish was creative, like nothing you've ever eaten but with hues of comforting tastes. Dress warm! You'll be dinning outside under candlelight and space heaters. BYOB for drinks.The most unique meal and cool dinning vibe that we've had all year. Highly recommend and we will be back for the new menu surprises!

Everything is unique and packed with incredible flavor.“The Buoy” is quite possibly the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, the “BLT” was perfect, with thick cut slab bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce, and the “shrimp roll” is a huge underdog on the menu with unique balanced flavor and freshness. Just top notch overall.Other favorites are the cheesesteak, chopped cheese, and fresh cut caesar fries. Truly special stuff! This place is an instant gem.
