I was so excited to finally have lunch at one of my favorite places to stop when at the beach. Since I don't live in the area, it's been a few years since I had the opportunity to stop in.Was disappointed that they no longer have the Baja bowl on the menu.I chose the Malibu veggie bowl instead.My order was to go, so I'm not sure what the temp was when it was picked up.It wasn't bad cold ...I remember everything always delicious. I am very saddened to say I didn't enjoy my meal.The cooked onion was barely cooked. ( I hate raw onion). It was lacking taste and wasn't appealing to the eye.For $19.19, that includes a bottle of water. I will not be taking the extra trip for lunch again.I'm hoping everyone else has enjoyed their meals

We visited from out of town and our family absolutely recommended Surf Taco. The fish and shrimp tacos were delicious and the burritos were also good. A fun place to eat that is a local place.

Tacos are just okay, nothing special. Went to bathroom to wash my hands, and bathroom was very dirty. Always a huge turn off to see a dirty bathroom at a restaurant. Guacamole was good.

My first time going to the Surf Taco and last. I purchased a combo with two tacos, chips, fountain drink, rice and beans. My taco choices were chicken and shrimp. So starting with the chicken taco, the meat tasted charred and burned but was still somehow cold?! It had adequate fixings but they just couldn't mask the terrible taste of the meat and the shrimp taco was just as bad. Something about the shrimp just tasted off and there was way too much cabbage maybe to hide the shrimp taste? I felt like I was having a cabbage taco. Also way to much money for that quality of food. Place was a little messy on the counters but not too bad. Had to go back after leaving because cashier forgot to give me a cup. They did have a cook needed sign, hope they find someone.Parking: Very limited parking at the location about 6 spots.
I walked in skeptical which I mostly try not to do. however walking into the store i immediately see the cashier with his Arian A10 blue hunter eyes stare me down. I got this weird feeling in my stomach, something as a food reviewer I could never contemplate. the food was delicious. the Cashier even gave me his special white sauce. Delicious!

Stopped by after a day of kayak fishing. Seems to be a popular place. I had a fried beef taco and a shrimp taco. They were ok. The staff and service was nice enough. The dining space is nice and clean. The bathrooms are tiny but clean.

Our "Go-to" when coming back from the beach. Great selection, always fresh and made to order. We love eating outside when the weather permits- Music selection playing is perfect. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They need to clean the bathrooms more often- Kinda nasty!Vegetarian options: They accommodate vegan and gluten free

Today's meal at Surf Taco was excellent. Service was good too. It's a reliable fast casual restaurant. Not heavy on atmosphere but the prices are still excellent so that's not much of a negative. The famous salsas are meh and occasionally the food isn't spot on but more times than not it's a great bang for your buck. Crazy during the summer but well worth the wait.
