Superb customer service. Atmosphere is family friendly. Meghan the manager is an exceptional human. She understands her assignment ! The food came out relatively soon; but not soon enough for my daughter because we came in super hungry and my daughter must have had a very hungry monster in her belly because she began to tear from waiting. Unfortunately, the pizza came back a bit more brown than we'd like. They gracefully took it back for a new one. Meghan took notice of my daughter's face and immediately came and offered her a few slices while we waited for the new pie. Overall, we left happy, full and satisfied Thank you again Meghan for saving my daughter from her hungry belly!

Yes the wait is long and yes the food is amazing. Pizza is so good as is the pasta. Limited wine menu but good options. Love this place. Surprised that it could be better than old location

Good pizza and meatball subs. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Recommend it to those who want a good Italian meal.

Really impressed by the pizzas/pastas/curated drink menu here. Cool vibe too. We arrived ~430pm on a Saturday, got one of the first tables, and it quickly packed out. I would consider it family friendly if you're in the first wave of seating. By 5:30pm it looked like the average person was waiting about an hour. Get there early!

This was my second visit to Artie’s. I was really wanting to go back after our first visit where we discovered it on a whim. Great pizza, great atmosphere. So when we had to think about a family-friendly place to celebrate a birthday, Artie’s was on top of the list. Why the one star? The food and table service were great, but this comment is about the frustrating and condescending treatment from the manager or owner. We had called ahead the day before to confirm we could bring a birthday cake and were told that was okay to do so. But then on the day of, we were told that it was not acceptable and we couldn’t serve the cake at the table. We had offered to pay extra, like a “corking” fee, but were declined. We were told that, “We don’t do that here. We have pastries and desserts so you can buy it from us.” When she decided to make an exception for us, she told us it would have to be done discreetly, but they wouldn’t provide extra plates and utensils (and I’m describing this much more diplomatically than she stated it), so we ultimately decided not to have the cake there. If we knew when we called ahead that it wasn’t allowed, we would have made other plans or just planned to order dessert. We know that not all restaurants allow this, which is why we called ahead to check. The manager’s attitude just left a bad taste and soured what was supposed to be a celebration. There are other ways to manage such a situation and this was not it.

This place is wonderful. Open floorplan. Tables aren't crowded together. Staff is absolutely wonderful. I'm not a big pizza fan in general, being very picky. However, I had Maple Bacon pizza, which was by far the best pizza I ever had. The salads are great as well, big enough for 3 or 4 to share as an appetizer.Parking: Not a big parking lot and around 6pm, the crowds start to show.Kid-friendliness: They offer highchairs, and the place is roomy enough you're not disturbing anyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

We had two pastries and coffee—an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. Neither pastry was good—there was little to no filling and the pastry wasn’t flaky or especially good tasting. Stick with food rather than pastries.

Love the new space ! Location is not as convenient as the last one, but the huge open concept of the new spot would not have been possible in SOMA village. The food continues to be top notch -- artisanal pastas from scratch coupled with savory sauces bursting with flavor, pizzas made to order with just the right amount of toppings on a sumptuous crust perfectly balancing fluff and crust, and both unique as well as classic salads that are nailed every time. It's a great spot to bring the kids, or a business lunch, or a date out. Go Artie go!

I'm appalled by the hostesses and how unaccommodating they are at this restaurant. With so many places to dine, why spend your valuable time and money at a place that doesn't value your patronage?Response to Owner: I recommend you get your facts straight before replying next time. We waited for 30 minutes and were standing in front of a table that your hostess proceeded to give away right in front of all of us. We took the 4 young and hungry kids that were a part of our group elsewhere, where we were welcomed warmly.

Not sure what is going on with this place. Went and was told they did not serve pizza between 2:30 and 4, but I had just been there three weeks earlier eating pizza at 3pm. Never going back. They have lost my business.

Definitely different but fresh good food but to me the dinner is the best time to go. They also have outside seating which is awesomeIn spring/ summer. I highly recommend you try for yourself.
