I love this place, the food is always greasy and fantastic. They always have a lean and friendly environment welcoming to all people no matter who are where your from. I greatly recommend this diner.

Horrible service. Sat down and ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a water, and waited about 30 minutes just for the water. Then I waited about another 10 minutes for my food which was wrong anyway. It was a regular cheesesteak, and I ordered chicken. So in total I waited about 40 minutes for a wrong order which was horrible. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Tia was such a wonderful server!! I would definitely go back and hope that she is my server. The buffalo chicken wrap was nothing buffalo about it. Mabey they forgot the buffalo sauce. But the food was still good.

The food took over 30 minutes and ended up being cold. Me and my family were treated disgustingly by the OWNER HIMSELF. While eating he constantly stared at us from afar and came over to make remarks about our ability to pay off our bill. It was a truly unwelcoming experience and I do NOT suggest eating here unless you want to feel ostracized.

This is an awful diner. We have ordered takeout from here whenever we aren't in the mood for much and just want something basic. The food is consistently lackluster, but edible. Today, however, was the final straw. I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak wrap, hold the peppers and NO SIDE OF FRIES; they are always undercooked and terrible and just go straight in the trash. Of course, the (extremely greasy) wrap was full of green peppers (an unholy act for a PHILLY cheesesteak plus I despise green bell peppers) and there's a big pile of gross halfway-cooked fries I didn't want. But it gets worse. My partner's Taylor Ham and egg burger.... wanna guess? ... was just a grilled burger patty with cheese on a bun. No Taylor ham, no fried egg. The lettuce and tomato was wrapped separately in tin foil, so at least they gave him something to put on the burger. There was also a separately-wrapped pickle, but he didn't get his side of cole slaw at all. Looking at that sad display, I said never again. I'd rather eat taquitos and dried-up pizza slices from under the heat lap at a 7-11 before eating from the Maplewood Diner again.

The food was terrible. Empty on a Sunday. I see why it was. The pancakes taste like cornmeal and the home fries had no flavor. We had to send it back. My chicken Cesar wrap was literally old salad and I wasn’t expecting it to be a legit Caesar salad wrapped in a tortilla. I thought it would have some type of speciality. Diner food is good but this ain’t the placeeeee. Lastly the booths are sooo loose and people kept hitting our backs. I would never return.
