We stumbled upon this place by chance, and we were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the freshness of what we ordered. We had a wrap and a chicken quesadilla, both of which were served with homemade sauces and were hot and generously portioned. The gentleman who owns the place is awesome, and though it is not fancy, it is a perfect place for a fresh and affordable meal.

Delicious food, convenient location on Springfield Ave right next to the police station. Ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp (large order includes 7 shrimp) and it was a generous portion. Served with a small baguette loaf, I was able to split it into two meals. Use their website to order online and save 10%. Don't forget to add tip! It goes straight to the staff, not to the app (Slice).

I was scheduled To go to a cookout later in the day, so ordered some food via Uber. It took 1.5 hours to get the food from a place that is 12 minutes away. Can't necessarily blamed the restaurant on the time it took to deliver, so I give them .5 pt. for this. But the food was horrible. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza from the supermarket, not like "real" pizza, and the turkey sandwich was on stale bread. All in all the worst meal thatI have gotten from Uber Eats, Grubhub, or picked up myself. I can guarantee you that I will never order from this restaurant again.

I have no idea why this would be rated so low. My fiance and I order from there all the time and it is incredible. The food is always delicious and it is also an amazing price. They routinely throw something extra in for free as well when I make a large order. Amazing place.

Walked in and not a person in sight to assist me. Took longer than appreciated to order, then it took 30 minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich that was improperly made. Severely understaffed and under resourced. Avoid.

I've been driving past this place since i moved here, i knew i needed to go in because it just looks like a place I'd always eat at back in Brooklyn. The menu is mostly Spanish food, which is more than fine, and the standard burgers and hot dogs plus breakfast menu. I went for the beef stew with yellow rice and I've never been happier. As i write this im about to lick the tin clean. We also got the chicken quesadillas which was packed with chicken, almost too much to finish, but we managed. I'll be hitting this place regularly

I had the sandwich de chicharrón and it was delicious! Such good ingredients! I also got to try the ropa vieja which was incredible! I strongly recommend this charming deli with many great options. The chef is incredibly talented and serves you restaurant quality food in a deli setting.

Loved recently to Maplewood from NYC. I was so relief to see this place... This place has the best Ropa Vieja hands down! Cook is amazing and she's so nice! You won't regret it. Be patient and wait for your food. It'll be worth it!
