Been coming here for over 10 years. It's amazing how much it has grown and flourished. Chef Umberto, Mario, and Lorena are the ultimate hosts. The food is always top notch. This restaurant is very special.

We do not go out for lunch very often especially coming out of the caution created by Covid. So, we decided to go out for lunch at Lorena's without making a reservation. We could not secure a table so we elected to sit at high tables with the hope that we could secure a regular table. We were seated and about 15 minutes later someone took our drink order. Ten minutes later a Bloody Mary and a Ginger Ale arrived. About 15 minutes later, a server asked us if someone (anyone!) had taken our order? We said no and placed an order. A few minutes later, the maitre d' let us know that a table had become available and we moved. About ten minutes later, our food arrived. Mussels for me. My husband ordered Salmon what we got was Salmon tartare that he had not ordered: he had ordered a Salmon entree. A dirty Martini was ordered and sent back because it was not briny enough. A Ceasar's salad was incorrect and had to be sent back. A salad was sent back because I requested no chickpeas. None of the staff apologized for the missteps or thought to comp us. The food was okay. I had mussels and the salmon entree was good. The fries that came with the mussels were great: hot and salted. For lunch for $143.00, the service should be accurate and responsive and the food must be exceptional. There were too many misses to recommend Lorena's.

I would never go back to this restaurant. The food was good and service was great but when they reached out regarding an undercooked item (I'm pregnant) they responded immaturely and got defensive.

It's a very nice place but service was a hit strange for such a expensive restaurant.. Didn't bring bread for mussels and also forgot the mayo for the fries

I want to begin by saying that the place was very nice please ambience very nice music very nice. We had a reservation and I asked if we could have the food and they told me no that only for people to the booth. Meanwhile, there were no tables on each side with only two people. Then, after bringing into the attention of the hostess, she then accommodated us and allowed us to sit in the booth. Once we sat down, we asked for drinks and an appetizer that came fairly quickly, but I don't want to forget to mention once they gave me the menus in the very beginning, it was wrinkled to quickly and dirty. The waiter and staff were pleasant but seemed oreocc by other people table. Maybe we came at the wrong time. When then ordered our food which was good Out of 10. They get a 6.5. We were brought the food and literally no one returned asked us how things were, if we needed another drink nothing. Our plates stayed stacked on our table until we asked to take them away. At this point dessert girl wanted no desert. I wanted to just leave. The finally came and asked me if we were good as we packe out food up. No I will not rerun, no the service was not good , the music was fantastic, the ambiance is very nice. Not worth the headache. I just wanted to celebrate my birthday. Now we will wait for the check I went to ladies room coat fell and they just left it on the floor on top on no hooks or anything in the ladies room to put your bag or blazer or jacket just anything. No good. I can say the gentleman hostess was very sweet
We threw a dinner party for our daughter at Lorena's and the staff was amazing to work with, and the food was very, very good. Thank you Eduardo and all of the kitchen for such an amazing presentation.

Went for my adult daughter’s birthday. We were six. Delicious and original food.. I recommend the butternut roast and the Bellini. Salvador, the manager and the staff were exceptional. Will go back. No doubt.
