Nice idea, poorly executed. Valentine's day...makes heart shaped pie without notifying the customer. Now no one gets an equal slice! Smh. It's not what i asked for or wanted and now i'm dealing with ppl not getting a equal slice because of the shape. Smh

Ordered bacon chicken ranch, drowned in ranch, almost no bacon, and had sliced tomatoes. Never seen that in my life and don't know who told them that goes together but I suggest they change that.

Trattoria has the best pizza this side of New Jersey! My favorites are pepperoni and the Buffalo chicken pizza. Whenever I have pizza night, my first choice is Trattoria.

It is my first time at Village Trattoria, and I am pleasantly surprised. The quality and taste of all piazzas I've tried were sensational, and the staff members, especially Windy, are welcoming, proud of their work and establishment. Together with the food, the service and ambiance deserve a high rating. Village Trattoria has just gained a loyal customer out of me. I highly recommend this place.

Not the most consistent-- sometimes it's the best pizza ever and sometimes it's just okay. I've never had an outright bad experience though, and the other menu items I've tried have been more consistent (and pretty good). This place is not as good as it was before the original owner passed away but it's still a neighborhood staple. Pretty decent and worth a shot.

My food never arrived. I was told that as Door Dash was not their problem, They couldn't do anything unless I came in. I had ordered dinner for my kids as we were out of town. I have no idea if the food is good because we never got it. The solution they had was come in and they would remake it but as we're not in town we couldn't do that. I have no idea why they did not send us another order to replace it. I disputed charges and lodged a complaint with the restaurant and UberEATS.

I love coming here every once and a while, but unfortunately I was left disappointed by the food this time around.I decided to get a couple of tasty buffalo slices, but instead they were a bit burnt and dry, and the crust was crispy. Hopefully this isn’t a prolonged issue, as I really enjoy coming here.

Ambiance is typical and service is quick but I am always amazed by the food here. I have been to both of the Summit and South Orange locations and I realized there was on in Maplewood so I decided to stop by on my way passing through and the grandma pie did not disappoint! Highly recommend!
