I've wanted to try Barrel's for a while. Place looks cute and it's BYOB in Margate. My wife and I both had tomato sauce based meals, I had the eggplant parm and she had linguini and meatballs. Neither dish had much flavor. The meatballs were vey soft, we prefer a dense meatball. The eggplant was mushy and tasteless. The real problem was their tomato sauce. Haven't been to Barrels in years. Last time not so good. So we decided to give it another try So this time it's great! There redone and interior and it's beautiful. it's service was really good. My husband had the Veal Cutlet Parm which is probably one of the best but he's never had. The special meatball app with peppers and 3 different cheeses was also really delicious.
