Went with 5 adults and 2 kids. Spent around $750 (tip included).Dinner was great but waitress forgot to bring appetizer before dinner.Manager asked if we still wanted it so we said sure why not.He still told the waitress to charge us for the appetizers even though they messed up. Small detail but comes across as a bit tacky given their reputation cost of dining here..

Had the best meal of my life. Literally the app with the fig jelly and ricotta was by far one of the best meals I ever had!

Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were also perfect. Presentation was perfection. The atmosphere is very nice. However our server was very blah and inattentive to our table of 4.

Pastas were outstanding! Salad was very small and not really a salad; just shaved pieces of carrots and greens. Short rib (which we were told was a favorite) was a bit fatty. Oh and wine was delicious ?

First, I must say our server James, was absolutely outstanding! The best! We enjoyed everything we ordered but have to say the Wagyu Short Rib was off the charts fantastic! The best we've ever had! The Charred clams are noteworthy too! To end the night, we had the best Carrot cake, not sure if this was made in house or not but it was the best as well!

Il Nido is the best restaurant in Monmouth county. The food is extraordinary. Pastas are to do for. The staff is terrific. In addition the restaurant is beautiful and atmosphere is perfect.

Everything here was delicious. What a GEM of a restaurant. Heard about it for a while now but this was my first time here and it will not be my last. Started my meal with a salad and the Steak and cheese crostino. The crostino was superb. Rich flavor in every bite. My wife ordered the Halibut, which was delicious. I ordered the 30 dua aged porterhouse and it was BY FAR the best steak I have tried in Monmouth County! Perfectly cooked and cut. Well plated too and presented at just the right temperature. Full of flavor and perfect char. Excellent steak! Finished the night with a strawberry shortcake which was out of this world. Extremely impressed with all the flavor in every dish. One suggestion would be to PLEASE get more pork-free and shellfish-free options on the menu to make this a spot that you can come back to multiple times if you don't eat pork or shellfish. I was surprised that the Wagyu Meatballs had pork in them as I would have imagined a dish called Wagyu to be beef. I would also highly recommend adding a sea bass to the menu as I can only imagine how delicious this place can make that fish. Excellent culinary experience and I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area or thinking of coming here. You will not be disappointed!

First time dining here and it was truly exceptional. The charred clams appetizer is a must try! Their pasta is noticeably made fresh in-house. Both our desserts were delicious. We will definitely be returning!

First time going .. took my friend for her birthday.. the chef is amazing, everything we had was different and delicious..great service .. a nice place for first date ! Will definitely go back !

I came for Saturday dinner and was faced with one of the busiest nights I've ever seen at Il Nido. I'm a fairly new customer, but have been coming very regularly 3-4x per month. When the manager recognized / saw me waiting for my table, he greeted me and decided to seat me at the chef's table. It was a really lovely experience! I'm always blown away by the food and service at Il Nido, and this stepped it up. Food came so quickly and there were a couple extra attentive moments that were the cherry on the cake for me. Chef Petriello is really something, and making the menu pop. Hands down rivals any Michelin Star restaurant I've been to globally

Il Nido is one of the best and most consistent restaurants in NJ. This is our fourth time there and it did not disappoint. The homemade ricotta is some of the best I ever had; along with the homemade pesto and pistachio raviolis. The pork chop and locally caught fish is out of this world (I can't believe a NJ caught fish can taste that good). Would recommend 100 out of a 100 times. We will be back

Our experience at IL Nido was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived I felt welcomed and pampered by the amazing food and the service from James it was awesome, Definitely would ask for him again and I highly recommend IL Nido and looking forward to return

Overall the place is nice...not cheap but not crazy expensive. Well done inside for being in a strip mall... there was only 1 waiter for like 6 plus tables. Not good. Food came out at a good pace. Octopus was tender and the lentils were surprisingly good. Cheesesteak Crostini was really good. The Il Nido Old Fashion was on point. Other drinks seemed too weak. Mains.. steak was seasoned well and cooked right. Pork Chop was the real let down. No flavor. Tough. Dry. Places need to cook pork less than well..lol we are passed that point now. Dessert was decent. Cheesecake had nice top but bottom was too thick. And Zeppoli‘s were really good. Overall nice place. No rush to go back but wouldn't avoid it

Wonderful place to dine, well prepared food, friendly and inviting environment and great service. Our server “James” was top notch! We agreed to let him select all our dishes and he did a fantastic job! We live for great experiences like this and James didn't dissappoint.
