I can only speak for take out as I didn't have the dine-in experience. I ordered the general tso's chicken and the green beans. The genera tso's was more breading than chicken and wasn't that great. The green beans had a little kick and were tasty (though not the best I've had from a Chinese restaurant). I think that this place is better suited for the more traditional Chinese meals. Also heads up, they've changed and downsized their menu quite a bit, so many items are no longer available. It's best to check the menu directly on their website.

Food is ok, but I have to say that there is absolutely no service. The waitress took the order and just dropped off the dishes. Never came around once to see if we needed anything. I even have to go ask for the check. For a Szechuan restaurant, I find it very limited in appetizers in the dumplings section. No pan fried dumplings or buns which is a staple in every Szechuan restaurants. There are no steamed buns with the shredded pork and sweet bean sauce that is also a given in every Szechuan restaurant. I will still return, but not as often due to the limited menu. Their original appetizers in the menu were much better and is discontinued.

Can you please set up your online ordering for take out? ! I would really prefer not having to call. Food is good, more on the authentic side than those totally americanized places. It's hard to find Authentic Chinese food in this area. I used to order form Taste of Szechuan all the time but it closed.

Chef Zhang serves more authentic Chinese style dishes than Americanized. The restaurant is clean and modern and the service was very good. I was the only non Asian customer during lunch which is also usually a good sign. There was not a lunch special menu so we had to order off the main dinner menu. We ordered the Salt & Pepper fried fish and this was quite good with nice flavors and not too oily. We had soup and an appetizer also. Since there isn't a lunch special menu, lunch was a bit on the pricey side. I would come back for dinner with a bigger party so we could explore the menu further. 3.5 plus Yelp stars

Soooo good!! Order the intestines dry hotpot, cumin lamb, eggplant in sauce , and salt and pepper fish. All was delicious. Will be back to try more!

Came back here to try a few new items. I wasn't too impressed with their soup dumplings (too porky and not enough broth) or seafood hot and sour soup (not sour and very little seafood). But the salt and pepper fish was perfectly fried and the flavor was on point. I had the tea tree mushroom dry pot and cumin lamb again and both were excellent just like the last visit. I think I'll stick with ordering Sichuan specific dishes when I come here next time because it appears that is what they do best.

I ordered the special fish. It is $41 on the menu. When I ordered, I also ask what kind of fish I it use. They told me it is sea bass.but when I ready to check out. It said the special fish is $46 instead of $41, as they said the $41 is for another kind of fish, but sea bass. Sea bass requires another $5 additionally. But they didn’t remind me at the beginning, since I particularly asked the fish.

Authentic preparation of an interesting and varied menu. Not your typical Chinese establishment. A very worthy visit.

Went to check this place out after being recommended it by family who said it was amazing authentic Chinese food. Got the shrimp dumplings the scallion pancakes and the crushed cucumber appetizers. The cucumbers were amazing but be prepared to reek of garlic after! The scallion pancake was amazingly crisp and flaky and while the shrimp dumplings tasted good, the dough was a little gummy and overwhelming for my taste. The twice cooked pork belly was amazing and super flavorful as well as the garlic eggplant. The mapo tofu definitely had authentic Szechuan peppercorns which leave a unique tingle so be warned it may not be for you, but if you’re into spicy then go for it. All in all, phenomenal food and portion sizes I will be back soon for sure.

The food is very spicy so order mild first! The staff is nice but sometimes it takes awhile for them to get to you. Definitely authentic and very tasty!

I found hair in my food after getting home with my takeout order. I tried to call the restaurant but the number listed does not work. I had to search the internet for their number and when I was finally able to contact them they refused to return my money because their credit card machine was not working. they asked me to come in to return the food. I drove back out to the restaurant and they told me the only reason they would not return my money was because they wanted the food back. hopefully it's not so they can reuse it... gross.
