I have been a customer of Esposito's since they originally opened in Matawan and have always raved about their quality and service. However, I had lunch there today and it was quite disappointing at best. Ordered chicken parm sub and there was noticeably less meat and the quality was subpar to the point where I couldn't finish it (that was a first). And of course, price went up $1. I felt cheated and double barreled! I hope this was a one-time thing bc if it's not I'm writing them off for good.

It's okay I guess.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't have a wheelchair but I could eat the food okay.

Great place but the guys behind the counter aren't the friendliest. They act as if the food is being served for free.

I've come to this restaurant a few times. Mostly during lunch hours to try lunch specials.I love their sesame crust pesto pizza. It's tastes great and looks really beautiful and colorful.I've tried eggplant sandwich (can't remember the menu name), garlic knots, plain pizza, arugula strawberry salad with caramelized pecans.Whatever I've tried, I liked them all. In the other hand, my friends tried chicken wrap or other chicken dish, they didn't like both times they ordered it. They said chicken was dry and didn't taste very good. They didn't even eat, just took 2-3 bites.I was just happy I don't meatbat Non Halal places. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and very bright. They girls who serve always smile and are friendly.Matawan, New Jersey

This place is a hit or miss. I ordered veal parm four times and there’s no consistency at all. All four times something was missing, either the bread or sauce I asked for and the quality of the food was different. The first time the veal was really good, the second time it was all fatty, the third time really good again, and the fourth and final time I’ll be ordering from here, it was completely burnt. Someone clearly forgot about what they were cooking and decided to throw it in a container and send it out anyway. $30 for a meal just to throw it in the trash.
